The fourth and fifth movies however set up a completely different ending to what the original series did so no those films wouldn't be included. |

Are you counting EoE? EoE is the original ending of the tv series, it isn't part of the rebuilds. The rebuilds can't be considered a remake/remaster because they essentially continue the original story, it doesn't matter that they start similar, that's exactly the whole point. By the end of the fourth film the whole story goes full circle, so for it to really make sense it's essential to watch the tv series first |
| The netflix and blu ray versions are HD scanned from the original 16mm film. EDIT: Don't pay attention to the posts recommending the rebuild movies. Those work much better if you have watched the original first. |

| The original series has been remastered. They could not find good source material for one episode, so that episode is presented in upscaled SD, but the rest are all in true HD. |
| Yes. For some reason people are replying talking about the rebuilds, but the rebuilds are not remasters they are different projects entirely. There is a remaster to the originally released version, you can even find comparisons on YouTube |
