so i heard that this arc is gonna be heavy story and dialogue and tought i might not enjoy it weekly as much as i would if i watch all 24 episodes. im really looking forward to this arc so what do u suggest, wait for it to end so i watch it then, or watch it weekly

It really comes down to personal preference. If you can't wait to watch and want to actively engage in conversation about the series watching it seasonally is the way to go. But if you prefer to be able to just binge the whole thing at once and not have cliffhangers ect just wait. This arc will probably be slow at times for people so binging it might work better. Personally I've never had the patience so I watch everything weekly.

I’m not a manga reader but I recommend you watching weekly the first two or three episodes so you decide if binging it is better

No they are doing weekly. Whether that's the same weeks it's airing on crunchyroll or not remains to be seen.

in which case i think weekly watches are much better cus this arc isn't really for binge watching, taking in the depictions and themes as episodes go would be the ideal way to go

whatever your patience can handle, this part of the story is a slowdown compared to the first season so binging it is probably preferable. I'll be watching it weekly purely because of my lack of patience and I'm interested to see Thorfinns journey in finding himself over weeks rather than one sitting.

It will be on the same day, Netflix is finally doing a proper simulcast

Watching weekly kills my investment in a series, so def better to binge if you have that problem sometimes

Either is fine but if I really love a show I'll watch it weekly. Usually if I'm not as interested in a show I'll binge afterwards.

Watch alongside its release then rewatching it after it finishes airing might be a good idea.

As a rule of thumb with most shows, just binge. It’s better to get immersed in the story and it’s themes when u binge. Not when u watch weekly

This rule doesn’t work for normal tv shows though, that go for like one hour, in comparison to anime that only goes for 20 min

I only ever watch anime weekly when I have already read the manga for it

Don't know about you but I will probably watch this weekly instead of a binge cause I have heard the same, just like you said that there's gonna be less action this season.

are you sure cause you are getting my hope high for watching it all at once and down too cause quality of ep might be low .

Bro I never watch ANY show on a weekly basis, except for one iconic, tremendous, marvelous, dearly cherished anime to my personal soul.

Interesting, but I believe that facilitates the binging approach.

I kills your soul to wait a whole week for back-to-back empty episodes.

The TRUE fans of a series will discuss it any time, anywhere.

When you binge something and reply to discussions while binging, it will reveal who the true fans are.

People moving on to other things are clout chasers.

Don't think you understand how discussions on airing anime works. You can theorise and make predictions about what will come next with other people watching.Sure you can talk about it after always but that's only like half the fun.

I don't care about predicting what will happen next, because I just want to know immediately. So I binge.

Never enjoyed watching weekly unless if It's a hour long. 24min is wayyy to short for me. Just when I get into it, It ends now wait ANOTHER WEEK. I would rather wait all at once. If It's 24episodes, I marked my calendar, June 20, 2023

Since it's quite long and complicated I'll TRY only try to withstand the curiosity building up inside me. Will probably watch the first ep to get the feel of it and then wait as long as i can.

Waiting for 24 episodes to air could take a long wait. I chose to binge them alongside Golden Kamuy somewhere at Spring or Summer 2023.

I just finished Vinland Saga a couple days ago. I really liked it 👍.

Usually, if I watch an anime I really like, and I get impatient and curious about what comes next - I usually end up reading the manga lmao. Then I'm spoiled, but I know what comes next. Sometimes, it's fun to see how the anime adapts the manga or to notice foreshadowing clues.

Sometimes, I end up dropping the anime because I get bored when I already know what's gonna happen.

My impulse control is very bad lmao. It's only a matter of time when I will read the Vinland Saga manga.

Binging anime can be very exhausting and you'd have to wait 12-24 weeks until you can binge the series. Maybe weekly watching? Or wait to watch 2-3 episodes at a time?

I binged s1 so I'm definitely will do the same for s2. Waiting each week for a story like this one will probably ruin the mood.

Yea personally I would wait and binge it, in the time you have waiting for the season to finish I recommend watching other stuff; usually when I like a series I read the manga and stay caught up with it. This causes me to generally wait for the anime to finish and then binge it later, solely for the fact that I’m reading the manga so there’s no point in watching it every week.

I always prefer binge watch, but I don’t generally have that much patience to wait for the series I love. Vinland is one of my all time favorites so I think I’ll go weekly.
