do you find the comedy in the manga more better than the anime?

the animation is superb and the direction is great but for some reason i find the comedy in the manga much more funny

is it the pacing? maybe it is especially that season 1 added a lot of filler scenes that slowed down the pacing of the story

if you agree with me i like to know why you think the comedy does not hit as much as in the manga version

but if you disagree then that is fine too im not here to force my opinion just curious on what makes the anime not as funny as the manga for me

They are both funny in their own ways. Anime adds some extra scenes and still feel like Spy X Family but the manga is still funny. They’re way too similar so it’s hard to give a definitive answer

Comedy generally hits harder in manga but the anime adds extra scenes that are pretty funny

still is Season 1, is the second half of s1 (part 2).

well, i am not sure, cause sum jokes are more funnier in the manga while others in the anime 😂

I think the Spy x Family manga was the thing that made me laugh the most in my life. I had to stop sometimes because my cheeks hurt, I couldn't read anything else without triggering a laugh. I'm not exaggerating, but that's what I remember and I've seen a lot in my 24 years.
I still prefer the anime because the draw and animation are gorgeous, and the Japanese dubbing gives a very special touch on emotions. I cried when Anya cried in the school interview because of Twilight's reaction. And when Yor shouted that she was Anya's mother after beating up the punk of the group who tried to kidnap Anya in the uniform episode, I got goosebumps.

I think they are different experiences, the anime seems much more serious. Maybe the same will happen with The Eminence in Shadow this season.

I overall prefer animation to comics with exceptions for some series. I like this series animated most, though I am also reading the manga! The anime is true to the manga, both funny but the anime is funnier, in my opinion.
