Yes they are. The official english releases are up to Zoku Owarimonogatari.

On a side note, that’s a great Trash Taste clip, and they’re right about it being impossible to fully translate. A lot is lost in the process, though it is still a great read

From what I can tell, so many of the jokes and visuals are so deeply Japanese that a direct translation and localization would be next to impossible

Do any of you actually speak Japanese though, unless you speak Japanese, how the fuck do you know what kind of word play and innuendo is being used, there’s a language barrier no matter what, sub or dub, either way it’s being translated into English, and things are getting lost in translation. So there’s really no good reason it’s not dubbed, monogatari fans are wild lol

A lot of the story of the anime is heavily based on the Japanese language and Japanese words, just wouldn’t work in English. It barely works with subtitles as it is.

Honestly they just didn’t do an English dub they could’ve if they wanted to but didn’t other languages did, unlike what people say it wouldn’t be impossible to dub but probably wouldn’t be worth it or necessary

It's hard to dub this series becuz of its dialogs. Some of Monogatari joke are JAPANESE humor...so, you're better watch original instead of dub

People who speak English and Japanese have said that half the enjoyment of the series is lost in translation. The dialogue uses many of the intricacies of the Japanese language, a lot of wordplay and stuff that isn't really a part of our language.

It would be the same case if a western show used the same kind of wordplay that can only be particularly understood by English speakers.
