| As promised, last week's poll is ending early this week. The last week's poll was on the club's acceptance of loli as romantic interest. The result was that 32 votes for any and all loli, 30 votes for loli with at least post-pubescent maturity and 15 votes for both no loli ever and loli that are shown growing out of loli-hood. As a special punishment for this week, I will provide some analysis of the result. A very interesting aspect of the votes is that 85% of the votes are on the two extreme ends, with very little votes in between. It appears that people are generally either very accepting to lolis or are strongly against lolis. Another thing to note is that people who accept loli are generally into two camp, those who accept all loli and those who have no qualm with loli, they just don't like little kids. One more interesting note of this club is that anti-loli members are not very vocal. Only one member has spoke his dislike towards loli while most other are surprisingly accepting to the concept. In most forums, the opposite is true. Anyways, that's the end of my short essay. This week's question is suggested by emperortopaz. The question is your favorite male lead personality type for HAREM ONLY. Due to the nature of the question, it is very unlikely that I have most of the options people want. If anyone has any personality type they want to add, leave a post. Do note that these are generic personalities, nothing specific. Please make any comment, suggestions, or criticism as you like. | Pervert. Mainly due to Hachibe from Ai Kora. It's always fun to see them true to themselves and not take anything seriously. Plus there's usually that one male friend that's also a pervert, so this kills two birds with one stone. |

| The main character is more influential in the overall rating than the amount of cute and Moe girls they can add to the show. perverts, and cool guys make the show I'd say. pathetic guys are just to pitiful to watch. |

I don't think there is ever a perfect guy in harem, although some people may WANT one. It may have been better if I did favourite personality 'trait'... but that list is too long. Most characters are cross between two types. For example, Ranma is between Jerk and Tsundere. By the way, my note on the side may not necessarily define the option, it's usually just a comedic comment. The closest I can think of at the top of my head is Kazuma from Kaze no Stigma (borderline harem, although the novel, especially ignition, is much more haremly) , cross between cool guy and jerk, with slight hints of playboy. Tsukihime's lead is kind of like that at the beginning. Code Geass lead can be in the cool guy category. A recent harem manga that I was reading, Gamble Fish, has a cool guy lead. Kagetora lead is kind of in the cool area. |

| Anywhere between a Bored Guy - Normal Guy. So I just picked normal guy. Now I do not mind if the male is any of the other types, although pervert male leads usually make for a funny anime like Akikian because usually they are getting their ass kicked by one of the lead females for their behavior. | I'd think I go with the "jerk" type since I thought of Kazuma from Kaze no Stigma but he sort of a good mix of different traits with it though. I like most of the different personality types anyways though. |
