I am already assuming the worse that they'll just cram 120+ chapters into 12 or 13 episodes.

but it might be a plesant surprise seeing more episodes.
has there been an answer yet?

As far as I’m aware no information has been released about episode count.

It’s been rumoured this has been in the works for a long time. So perhaps optimistically we can hope it’s a two cour season but in all honesty it can go either way.

Considering most anime is single cour, that’s probably more likely. They could have a 2nd season part 2 or 3 so even if this is a single cour season, not all hope is lost.

I can’t see them going past a certain point in the story if it’s only 12-13 episodes. If that’s the case, it will probably be similarly paced(fast) as season 1. The most probable stopping point is about the same amount of chapters as season 1 adapted.

But to answer your question, we don’t know since nothing has been confirmed beyond “season 2 will come out”.

Well, you know who has his outfit of the Workshop Battle Arc in the visual so we will have to pray they learned from the TGOH fiasco and is 2 cour as only 13 episodes would be a rush disaster.

I wish I could have a clear idea on how many episodes they would do for this season but given the track record with the previous season and how large this part is (I know that only a portion of its gettin done), don't know how much the staff will go for. Hope its at least 24-26 episodes to be frank. Should be fun regardless, I did enjoy season 1 a lot despite the flaws.

sadly most companies don't do long seasons anymore.

i really hope they don't adapt the whole of season 2, because that would be literally possible even with 24 episodes which is usually the max amount,

having something as long as a shounen jump series is very rare nowdays, the only recent one to note i think would be the shaman king remade with had like 50+ episodes in one season

If you're asking how many To cover the full Season 2 from webtoon,,,, then it will need more than 20 episodes to fully cover.

Season 1 was only 80 chapters and they still had to skip some parts to make it into 12 episodes

12 episodes can cover up to the workshop's ticket arc but for the rest I don't know how long it needed to adapt the whole tournament and three major fights.

As I remember Season 2 chapters are longer than s1.

The end of the Workshop arc is about as many chapters/episodes as the first season of the webtoon, but they are much longer. I can’t imagine them stopping anywhere before or after with S2 of the anime. The Hell Train arc alone could be 3-4 12 episode seasons.

I believe it will have 13 episodes in total. And to conclude the second season of the manga, I believe it would take three more seasons of 13 episodes in addition to this one.

There is no way this isn't 24 episodes. The Worshop is a long arc and the chapters themselves are longer than most of the ones from the first arc, so if they cramp the introduction of team sweet and sour + Urek + Workshop in 13 episodes this is going to be a disaster.
