I'm with you on this. the MC is a scumbag. They are really showing a simp wasting all his money on a girl. And who's giving him all that money? his parents. I know it's just an anime and it is supposed to be enjoyed as it is, but these traits of the MC makes me cringe. And now he has become even worse in the new season.

kind of agree with you, I mean the show is overall not bad , decent 7 to 8 stars without the mc, but yes there are so many better options that he could have gone with if he wanted to support the female lead rather than just wasting his money, but it is what it is and I probably won't see this one unless something good happens like a nice twist and personality change in mc.

Yeah, Kazuya is one of the the worst, cringest,scumbag MC of all times.
He is the reason why I gave this series 6.
If MC were decent and smart character I would give solid 8.

After watching the final episode of season 1 I had a bad feeling that it was going to be some repetitive garbage. But to hear that over 240+ chapters and still same stuff happening? And wanting to see the girl you like getting with another guy? What was that carrot for her to play with herself? I didn’t like season 1 and made the decision to not watch season 2 but to find out this is that big of a dumpster fire. Wow!

I don’t like the show because of the Mc. I won’t watch the second season because the MC was just so pathetic and constantly made me cringe. Chizuru doesn’t help either. I really liked Mami and Ruka. Those two actually have promise character wise. But they aren’t worth it to watch a second season.
