Why the F does the 'Traitor' track sound nothing like it did in the anime?

Seriously why do animes keep releasing worse versions of the stuff that's actually used in the anime

It happened in S1 with the main theme's Armored Titan version, and in S2 when Sasha was chased down by the crawling titan to the tune of 'Rittai Kidou Pt2' but the more epic version.

They need to stop doing that.

I think part of it has to do with the fact these tracks are better when they play with the scenes.

The soundtrack you're listening now is the one Kohta/Sawano produced before they were used in anime. Episode directors remove some of the instrument from track according to the scene (maybe cause the instruments are to loud or doesn't fit with the scene) and rearrange these soundtracks for better impact. It's not the worst version they are releasing but original one that they produced. Fault was your to expect such thing.

I Loved that traitor track as it came out too but yeah it is kinda sad they have to change that to fit in the anime.
Also in season 3 part 2 where eren talks about the paths the track should be attack on d but it is actually a mysterious never released "loop" of a part of that song and it was soo epic..

Becoz of the ending

Since the plot shifted more towards a romantic one rather than a vengeful one ,the vengeful moments are changed inorder to fit the ending
