| I'm source reader and Yuuichi is the most enjoyable fictional character for me. His unconventional thinking, strategies and actions are so fun to read/watch. Sadly anime couldn't do him justice enough. I quickly hooked to the manga from the first chapters but I also understand why some anime watchers were quick to judge it.Cause anime couldn't really capture the atmosphere and tension in the manga.Nonetheless adaptation is just fine could have been better but there's nothing we can do. All we can do is either accept it or complain.Complaining is exhausting so now I just accept the way it is. |

| I wish we knew more about the characters coz without that, the stakes are non-existent and thereby the games fall flat. Yuuichi has potential as long as they don't mess up his backstory. |

| anime only here tbh ep 1 kinda sucks, but it gets so much better later on. Yuichi is officially in my top 10 (or even 5) favourite MC! 8/10 from me |
| Morally gray and kinda mysterious. Very good. It's cringe to see, that people are complaining about "MC being a bad person" and would prefer some bland and boring Kirito clone. |

| The first half was mid. You can feel that the show struggles to tell you what schemes or manipulation that was going on. It felt messy. Another problem in the first half is that they keep telling us how amazing Yuuichi while showing too little. However, the 3rd game started to get interesting. Tenji and Yuuichi started to show what kind of character they are, and episode 11 is the best one so far. There is finally emotional conflict and physical conflict, and because we finally know more about Yuuichi and Tenji, we are going to root for them in the next episode. |

| That's Because they have nothing better to do, this season yuichi is one of the top protagonist and if y'all read the manga you will know what type of character he is, i really enjoyed this series and Mc, it's just that studio is new so adaptation isn't that great but that Just gives you the opportunity to read the manga. |

| Among the “genius playing death games” anime (though this isn’t a death game, but the show is laid out similarly), this one has been good. It’s intricacies aren’t ridiculous or completely unbelievable, yet they are satisfyingly complex and mysterious. We’ll see how it turns out ultimately, but so far I’ve thought very well of how the story is handled. That goes for the MC as well, and he is the source of most of those intricacies. |

| The MC fared better than the show. He had fewer issues. The show on the other hand while not a disappointment, it certainly didn't reach it's potential, even though it could have, which is a shame. |
