Also I have never seen any 10 year later sequal using this kind scenario aside from matrix which is a entirely different build) |

Because both mikasa and eren died. Especially mikasa died of old age. Unless heavy retooling is done to the story like last chapter and extra pages are hallucination of something it wont be possible. That would be kind of rewriting the ending rather than sequal. Most author or writer don't do it atleast not in a sequal which is released after long time (like 10 years) in my experience (I have seen some author go far to make a alternate version to milk the story while preserving the ending ) But main reason why u wont see that is because Isayama loves this kind of tragedy. His writing philosophy is basically more painful to everyone , more memorable (as he has told in many interview) |
