The only thing that can save aot rn is good pacing and amazing animation cause the next few chapters were straight up mid, full of asspulls and plotholes and terribly executed. I think mappa took a good decision of waiting another year to give us another season I hope they execute these chapters perfectly.

Here’s the best way I can explain it. MAPPA has a lot on their hands right now. Just a few of the shows they are doing is Chainsaw Man, JJK, and supposedly they also picked up Vinland Saga Season 2. The shear amount of content they are working on is way too much. They just didn’t have the resources necessary to finish AoT right here and now and not only continue their progress on the other stuff coming, but to also give AoT the respect it deserves with a well animated ending. If they were going to do a movie, it wouldn’t come out until next year anyways. So, although it sucks, this was the best they could manage.

multiple reasons. Mappas in a tight schedule having multiple projects in hand rn. This final stretch is very important so no point rushing it. There is a lot to animate especially the odm gear scenes so instead of complaining, wait patiently for the sweet sakuga.

oh look, another entitled shit. Have you seen the state of MAPPA staffs? If another season/movie was released so quickly, that means the staff would've been crunching and the fans will also complain since it's guaranteed to look disappointing.

They making 3rd part, people are complaining.
If they rushed the ending and finished it with part 2, people would be complaining.
If they did movie instead of part 3, people would complain.
There is literally no way how they can satisfy everyone with their decision, I am actually happy there's still gonna be more aot episodes and year of waiting isn't that long compared to some other animes that have years of gap between seasons

I am happy because they can make sure the animation is the best it can be. I don’t want an Equivalent to CyberPunk 2077. Give them as much time as possible if we can get the best product possible.

i preffer it this way. ending the series at 10 years seems fitting, and they have plenty of time to make a proper ending. trust me, better this than rushing production

That's the mindset nowadays. I admit, not every show from the 90s or earlier are masterpiece, but to disregard them simply because of production values is just plain wrong.

its annoying to wait another year. I know Mappa had a lot things to works like Chainsaw Man and Vinland Saga but its still disappointing to wait another year. it will be good if 1 Season break like Re:ZERO season 2 or Spy x Family but 1 year break ...... idk 🤔. If they back wih a good animation maybe it can relieve my disappointment✌.
