I personally think you should skip fillers but I don't watch like any fillers for any show tbh.

And I just put it as completed don't think it really matters too much if you didn't watch the fillers or not and put as completed I've done that with both narutos

im not trying to be rude, im genuinely asking

are you new by any chance? Because its okay to mark your anime as "completed" even if you skipped the fillers because fillers are non-canon content

lets say Naruto shippuden have 500 episodes, you skipped 200 of it (fillers)

that still counts as 500 (completed)

ofc this rule can't be applied im real life situation or anything but in this case it really is normal
One Piece is bad, really

Yeah you should slip. They don’t really add anything to the story as they are non canon and didn’t actually happen. Also it doesn’t matter if you skipped fillers or not you just put it in the completed section.

Personally I don't skip anything but it depends on person to person, you can skip fillers if you want. You will only miss some funny moments etc. It will hardly have any effect on overall plot.
For marking completed just go to your list and tap on completed with whatever your score and save it.

Skip fillers. They are shit.

I understand you all, but the reason why I don't want to put the anime in completed section despite I haven't watched all the episodes is that I am interested in counting the episodes accurately.

All in all, thank you all, I think I will do what you said.

if you want to do that then technically you can but it can only be doen of the website not the app. Just say how many episodes you’ve watched on the website and put it in completed.

The only filler I would suggest watching is 464 - 469. Other than that I’d skip the rest. Then when you finish if you really wanted you can go back and was some but I would for sure watch 464-469

I have never skipped the fillers and I did with this one, but I understand you don't like those chapters been added to the global numbers.

Even so, Naruto (no Shippuden) fillers are pretty bad chapters and you'll probably loss the pace. Shippuden fillers, at least, are divided, not 80 fillers in a row.

So, what about that: skip the fillers and enjoy Naruto. After you finish the show, if you are uneasy about the skipped chapters in your numbers, you can watch them slowly, without them killing the pace.

In the case of classic Naruto... watch until episode 135 (which follows the story of the manga) and then to episode 220 which is basically the farewell to the anime.

and then you can put it as: Complete

I have skipped the fillers and still I have it the completed section. So don’t worry about it.

P.s The fillers of Naruto are good and fun to watch, if I had time I would watch them.

just watch them anyway because you cant put an anime as completed if you skipped episodes if you do that means you’re lying to yourself

some of the filler episodes are fun

Totally fine to skip fillers, they are fillers after all. However there are some pretty interesting fillers around ~ 100-130 that i would recommend to watch.

I skipped the filler for the original Naruto (I’m watching Shippuden rn) because it doesn’t add anything to the story so it’s not like your missing anything important and also Naruto probably has some of the most boring filler in anime history.

Well it was bad even without fillers.
But who cares about overall stats. What matters most is the watched count not the episode one.
Though, you can always subtract the episodes/fillers from the total days/count.

Skip them except good ones like indra and ashura backstory, anbu kakashi etc.
