Source - https://animehunch.com/2022/01/21/anime-staffs-tweet-spreads-fear-about-mushoku-tenseis-season-2-being-at-risk/

So this is about this article which says Studio Bind staff is leaving for Mappa and mushoku tensei season 2 is at a risk. First of all the article says "fans speculated" like ten times. Which fans? I haven't seen anyone talking about this anywhere. Secondly they don't drop animes because there are other popular shows and even if they are "surely going to win" as said in the article. The animation director of Mushoku Tensei even said there's a possibility for a movie in a live event. Mushoku Tensei has enough support, popularity, sales and everything. They've planned way ahead for the future of Mushoku Tensei and there's no way they would drop this. If it's like that then only shonen animes would get sequels lol. Only shared this because there was a previous thread about this. Otherwise don't take this seriously. Probably the one who made article was looking for some attention.

You guys are reading such articles? Bruh most of them just want traffic on their sites. If it's going to release it will release, no need to pay attention. πŸ™‚

Yeah probably. But the thing is they're are some points which is true like Mushoku Tensei animation director will also work on chainsaw man. But they made it look like they're going to drop mushoku Tensei and start working on something else. A lot of people have read this and might be confused about this because it was in a thread titled as season 2 leaks.

Nowadays most of studios working on more than 1-2 projects and mushoku gain popularity very fast, there is no reason to drop this maybe they will take some time but better late than never. Although my 2022 is already packed with so much to eatπŸ˜‚.

I was the one who made that thread & I didn't even confirm that it's referring to Mushoku Tensei, just a vague leak about some 'high quality' anime of 2021. I posted it in Mushoku Tensei thread cuz the title of the article said so, and the title of the thread was 'POSSIBLE' SEASON 2 LEAKS.
I just relayed news bro.
I'm not sure if it's accurate or not and therefore I didn't confirm anything and stated that it's 'vague'.
Btw some of the staff who worked on Mushoku Tensei might be simultaneously or for the time working on Re:Zero (which is also basically made by the same studio (White Fox)) which is a big title and worth working on so there are chances.
I think you took this the wrong way, I'll just add an edit on that thread just to make things clear and to avoid misinterpretations πŸ‘. Thanks for letting me know, always appreciate help.

I'm not blaming you bro. It's just the one who made the articles. There's no one talking about it and they say fans speculated and shitπŸ˜‚ don't take those articles seriously and yeah you should edit the thread or people who read it will misunderstand

I was sure they would announce a season 2 at the end of season 1. There was no reason not to. If they wanted to increase LN sales, then an announcement would not have a measurable affect since anime onlies like the production value. I lean to the 50/50 on a second season. The problem is a fundamental business decision - were the revenues enough to cover the increased production expense. Just because something sold well doesn't mean it was profitable if it was extraordinarily expensive to make.

They’re probably doing a joint operation or smth. Highly doubt mushoku would be cancelled since it’s so successful

They're not doing it for LN sales or sales in general. If it's like they the would've started it while the LN is ongoing. the LN sales are good tho. It completed 10M sales this month I think. Also the bluray version released last week ranked 3rd after 3 days of release

Keep in mind there is an OVA in March too so I'd probably wait at least till then before thinking about an announcement. Won't mind if s2 takes its time since s1 looked that damn good and the studio had challenges with animating this through the COVID environment and delays too for its cours.

It sucks that they didnt announce season 2 right after the end of season 1.
Go read 'Mediterranean Hegemon of Ancient Greece' If you like webnovel with historical, military and kingdom building genre.

With Studio Bind being made specifically for Mushoku Tensei, I don't see why people have to get this worried. It's more a matter of when rather than if.

There's a lot of bogus articles nowadays on the web. You can just tell they're bogus when they write so much unnecessarily just for you to scroll the page and have their ads counter tick up.

Would love a season 2 and I am willing to bet it's very very likely to happen. Maybe we'll get an announcement later this year.

Studio Bind belongs to White Fox. They will pause the production of MT for Re:Zero Season 3 my opinion. They made deal for Season 2 but more staffs needed more for Season 3.

I don't see MT Season 2 coming before 2024.

That’s some ridiculous article
Studio Bind and their production company Egg Firm already decided on full adaptation of MT .
Remember that Producer Manabu Okamoto read up to Volume 12 of the story before deciding "Yup, this be would make a good anime."
Read this interview with CEO of Egg firm
www.reddit.com
Talking about animator’s
Mostly the animator’s participated in Mushoku Tensei are freelancers not in-staffs .
Ryo Imamura ain’t some certified Studio Bind animator infact he is also a freelance who only did 9 cuts in whole season .
I’m following ryo imamura in Twitter and he never said something about leaving mushoku projects etc ..
website article is saying Takahiro Yamanaka is a animation director bruh he isn’t a Animation director infact he is a producer infact he never did something like animation direction.
-White Fox ( white fox Tokyo studio and WHITE FOX Izukōgen Studio ) helps mushoku tensei in Production assistance ,2d key animation, key animation and in between animation) ofc they will cause studio Bind is their subsidiary.
In the end freelancers , CAD(chief animation directors) , AD(Animation directors ) , key animators can work in multiple projects it’s not something rare happening in industry.
Working in chainsawman? Jjk season 2 ? joining Mappa ? That’s some big false hyping speculation .
Ok “ Mushoku tensei animator’s” can work in chainsawman or on any other projects but they will do it as a freelance that doesn’t mean they are going to shift their whole studio which is newly made and doing well in their BD sales . For ex in “One punch man season 1” all the “studio Bones staff” joined to work in Madhouse as freelance and after that they gone back to do their respective work in their respective studios.
Everything is safe No need to panic We will get season 2 of MT in a spectacular quality which studio Bind always delivers.

Makes sense MT has actual care being put into it's Anime adaption, ReZero looked really rushed in the last season, even despite the massive gap between seasons, might be similar studio on paper but thats about it.

Shield Hero Season 2 announced 3 years ago just saying. My point still stands, i don't see it is coming before 2024.

Also Re:Zero will not announced without trailer/teaser, it is much bigger series.

Well the studio is not dumb, they can hired a freelancer or new animator for rezero project

For studio bind, maybe some staff will help some other anime or even they have a staff more than we think.
