| Start from the very beginning. Not only for Hyouka, do it for every novel/ln adaptations because they cannot adapt everything so some things get left out. I always start from the very beginning |

Now I'm read the novel and yes you should read it from the beginning the reason is because its a novel and i recommend everyone to read from the beginning there maybe some differences and you can enjoy it differently. |

Thanks in advance for your reply Since you watched the anime, you don't necessarily have to read the novel from the beginning, but I would suggest to do so because some things were left out during the adaptation. If you really like Hyouka that much, you should read it from the beginning to get to enjoy the whole experience |
| It is generally recommended to read the original novels/light novels from the beginning, since it's an entirely different format from their anime and manga counterparts, thus making them a different experience from their adaptations. You are also able to experience the same scenes in a new perspective and greater details. |
| Koten-bu series is much better than the adaptation, due to the independent volumes, rather than the Slice-of-Life approach, which stretched the progression. |
