I end up building a pure burn deck with low rarity cards. Believe or not, I actually won some games. Also match against people with self burn deck and that's just make it faster for both of us. |

| OK, this is actually the very first time I can say that I've enjoyed content from Genshin Impact from start to finish, as far as version 2.5 is concerned so far. 1. The Enkanomiya event: FINALLY, actual fucking gameplay. Not some shitty minigame that's neither fun nor even rewarding when you force yourself to play them. We have an objective to re-explore this map, with new chests to find, new enemies, simple and non-frustrating puzzles in the light reflection/refraction ones, and a decent amount of rewards. Gameplay is fun and the rewards are fine. That's literally all they had to do and they did it for once. The story is meh, but thankfully short and not a hassle to mash through to skip. The new catalyst seems fine, but as someone who has Favonious Codex and The Widsith, I don't find much use for it for now. 9/10 from me. 2. Raiden's new quest: The story is average (which is already a step up from the garbage we got for pretty much the entire game up to this point), but the Makoto background was interesting. Just wish they'd stop trying to be clever and cagey about the single somewhat good thing about the story: The mystery of Khaenri'ah. Though, I'm like 95% sure they'll fuck that up as well when they reveal it. 5/10 from me. 3. The new boss: A fucking boss that's not ridiculously annoying to fight, at last. She doesn't run away in a random direction every 1.5 seconds, no long-ass invincibility phases where the game just stops for like a minute mid-fight for no reason and she forces you to fully go on the offensive by disincentivizing shielding. 9/10 for me. Best boss in the game as of this point. Though, she pretty much had no competition. 4. Yae's quest: boring all around and the writers aren't even pretending anymore that the Traveler is the MC, but Paimon at this point. How are we centuries-old again? The domain was mercifully short, at least. Who gives a shit about Yae's light novels. 2/10 from me. If you look at these scores and think that the average is still pretty low for a patch I'm saying is better than the previous ones, then you now know how I feel about those previous ones. |

| Looks awesome. Though, a part of me is disappointed that this isn't a console Devil Survivor game. They teased a new Soul Hacker game for a while now, so I knew this was coming, but still. EDIT: On second look, I kinda take back what I said about this looking awesome. It's not bad by any means, but it looks way too much like Tokyo Mirage Sessions for my liking. Producer & Director: Eiji Ishida, Mitsuru Hirata Character Designer: Shirow Miwa >Eiji Ishida He directed Tokyo Mirage Sessions and Strange Journey. I'm not exactly crazy about these games, but I'll give this one a try. Crazy how the same dude who freaking made SJ also made TMS, tho. >Mitsuru Hirata ...he wrote Devil Survivor 2... I knew the cringe I felt looking at these characters felt familiar. Here's hoping he gets his shit together this time and doesn't try to make not-Persona 5 as he did with DeSu 2 AKA not-Persona 4. >Shirow Miwa Man, I love his Fate/Prototype designs (especially Brynhildr), but damn, I don't like any of these designs at all. |

| When you go to ranked with DM thinking there aren't that many meta whores in gold: Like seriously this deck doesn't brick as often as my other 2 but jfc 2-4 handtraps turn 1?? 4 times in a row? I could maybe handle one or two assuming I get a good first draw, which doesn't happen often for some reason, but my god the entire game falls apart if I don't get lucky the next turn. Edit: on the flip side my luck completely changed after that disastrous streak and I clapped an Eldlich. Good way to end the daily session of losing braincells. |

| Well, the handful of the top meta decks nowadays are so ridiculously consistent, if you don't win in the first 3 turns, you're doing something wrong with either your build or your plays. Luck of the draw isn't a fraction as important as it once was. |
| Just caught up on the Raiden story quests in Genshin. I appreciate that they just straight up gave boss Raiden the DMCV version of Judgement Cut End, complete with the timestop. Also, I know Act II builds off of the development in Act I, but I feel it still would have been way better if her Act I and II were reversed. Also getting to play around with Raiden during the quest and she honestly seems like one of the few characters who feels like a proper action game character. Just something about the crunchiness and speed of her animations makes her feel way better than most characters in this game to play, with Xiao maybe being one of the only few who come close. Then again, my mains are "stand in place and throw rocks while holding forward to hopefully speed up the animation" Ningguang, "freeze an enemy in place and just spam charged attacks in one place until Q pops up to delete an enemy" Ayaka, and "My E is a dash that doesn't even have iframes" Yae Miko, so maybe I'm just not playing with the right characters. |

I'm of the opinion that Act 1 and 2 should've been a singular chapter. We're left way too long after Raiden's defeat without any development for her character or even a good justification for her actions. Yeah, she wants eternity and shit, but why? She says she did it for Inazuma, but we don't get any indication that she even likes her nation or even her people, but we get all of this and more (Makoto) that answers all of this in this chapter. Why did we have to wait months for this? If they also moved her change of heart and the abolishment of the Vision Hunt Decree to during this Act, it'd alleviate alot of the pacing issues and the feeling that she changed heart way too fast. The writing in this game is a mess, and that's when they actually do something better. For Raiden's playstyle, while the electro effects certainly help with this feeling, I'd say that polearms in general just play the best in this game. They're fast and have a large range, which just feels better to play. Well, maybe not Shenhe and Xiangling IMO, they feel bad to main. I can definitely agree that some characters feel really bad to play. I've said this before, but I was completely down on the battle gameplay of Genshin until I got Rosaria and discovered polearms. Now I almost make it a point to make polearms my main carries if I can help it. And speaking of boring characters to play, after all the investment I had into her, am I glad that C4 Yanfei is a good shield for Hu Tao where I can press Q and immediately switch off of her because otherwise, she'd be shelved forever. Just well, when you know how the deck works. Shutting Sky Strikers down is really easy. It's a control deck similar to Eldlich but the monsters are lot weaker and no floodgate. Against top meta deck that summons tons of monsters and have plenty of negates, they get wreck easily. If the opponent have monster that cannot be targeted or just immune to their spell, they lose instantly unless they can summon Accesscode to run over it. |

| True true, plenty of top decks have the tools to shut down Sky Strikers completely. Playing against Kaijus and Skill Drain/Eldlich in particular with SS is pretty scary if you can't OTK ASAP. And to think people want to ban/limit Engage. This is the card single-handily carrying this deck to its current position in the meta, and yet with SS having access to THREE Pot of Greeds WITH search, they're still not even in the top 5 decks in this game. |

This is a pretty awesome sword at R5. I have it on my Jean and with max stacks her 80 cost burst essentially becomes a 32 cost burst when combined with her talent that refunds 20% of her burst cost. Not sure if Ayato's E can proc the effect with each slash though. |

| Well, they did say that she violated her NDA, which is enough grounds for termination. What's really interesting though is that this is the very first time where they're so blunt about it. They aren't hiding or sugarcoating anything, they flat out accuse her of contract violation and leaking confidential company information, followed by saying that they've TERMINATED her contract. No "graduation", no "sad to see her go", just fired, plain and simple. They know she has a huge following, and they can't get wishy-washy about it. They had to say that she fucked up big time, not them. |
