Dr. Stone manga is going to end within next few chapters

What was the point of choosing who's going on the space mission? If there's no fighting it doesn't matter.

Actually going to space was useless. They knew where Why Man was and that it used radio waves to communicate. Also Senku suspected that it was a machine intelligence. They simply could have contacted it with a radio instead of wasting time on building rockets.

Why Man was just a dense A.I. who wasted thousands of years making bad decisions. They either pack up and leave when Senku tells them they can't mass produce what they want. Or go the symbiotic Mass Effect route.
Either way, I'm disappointed and was expecting more.

The fan theories with Rei were so much better than what we've got in the end...
