honestly i think "final season" with 3 parts fits better. this is the last arc right? the highest peak, that climax. if they were to name it season 4 and have season 5 as the final one it'd be .. Idk, off. i guess. like imagine season 4 ending on where part one ended, or right when part 2 will end. (i dont actually know what they'll end that on since im an anime only so maybe it Could be better to make s5 seperate.. LMFAO💀 still i think "s4: the finale!!!!" looks better)

and ofc if they finish it off with a movie it just makes more sense. i wonder if they're gonna name it "aot: the ending movie" or something to get make it sound more suspenseful lol

I actually reread the manga yesterday so I think that according to current pacing and due to the amount of story in each chp they will adapt only 1chp/ep
i.e ep 6 adapted chp124 , so now according to rumors about only 12 eps in this season they will adapt upto chp130, not even chp131.
And it would be great cliffhanger in chp130 as compared to chp131 because in chp130

Put a [spoiler] before the term you want to get in the tag and close it with [/ spoiler] after the term you want inside the tag. Dont put a space between closing spoiler tag like i have did (the bold one), I did it to explain.

As someone who has read the manga i can tell you it's a GOOD thing they're taking it slow and steady by covering 1-2 chapters per episode. Yes, we most likely won't make it to the end this part and i think that a movie would be a bad choice. I'm personally hoping on a Final Season part 3 because in my opinion that would be the best way to go about it.

There is so much that happens in the last chapters and a movie would have to be 3+ hours long or they would have to skip parts which is nearly impossible because everything is important.

There are leaks that chapter 128 and 129 will be adapted in a single episode. Because they are mostly just action chapters and can have a quicker pace.

Well even if it ends with a movie it’ll still technically be the final season. But I think it’s just named that way for hype. Final season will get more viewers than simply calling it season 4
