| There are many people out there who hate the artstyle of Clannad, but there are also many out there who completely love it (including me). It depends from person to person |
| Their designs are less appealing to me than they were when I watched it. Those gigantic eyes are fuckin uncanny. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

I think there's a difference between ugly and unappealing. Ugly implies a distinct unpleasant appearance while unappealing just means that their appearance is not appealing to look at. Like the difference between a rotting fruit and a fruit you don't like. |

| I personally put off watching Clannad for so long due to the ugly art style. So yes, my personal vote is they're ugly. Guys aren't much better. Even modern KyoAni animation style isn't my cup of tea, but in comparison with their older stuff, it's pretty tolerable. |
