People asked me where I read certain thing but the rules say no telling where did you read so maybe I am too boring for not saying? Or salty because you didn't check my profile that says don't ask because I hate people to ghost me after that. I love learning languages so maybe I did not read the manga in English. |
| Well, that's some interesting revelation right there. Sanzu being Baji and Mikey's childhood friend shocked the hell out of me. Maybe that's why Sanzu is a one hell of a loyal dog of Mikey. But if they've known each other for so long, why isn't Sanzu a part of the founding members of Toman? And just became a member after it was founded? Lol. |

| The fuck? I feel like people just keep popping up in Mikey's past and not FROM it. Maybe I missed some info dumps on a chapter or something like that. Also, never liked Sanzu so on a totally personal and unfair standpoint I hate this already. |

| Hmmm...I'm not sure what to feel about the last panel. We've had backstories of Mikey when he was a kid. Baji was consistently there, but Sanzu and even Senju were supposed to be there as well? :/ I'll give my opinion about it once we've seen this backstory. TBH, I'm starting to fall out of love with this series. It was solid until chap. 207 though. |

It is quite unsettling to have so many characters related to Mikey, but it actually kind of makes sense when you think of it. Takeomi and Shinichiro were best friends, so it would not be strange for their siblings to be close. Sure, it’s not implausible at all that most of the kids could be connected through childhood (after all, Takemichi’s whole life is based on characters from it with the likes of Hina and Kisaki), but the way things are brought up feels really cheap. It feels more like the author making up things when he needs, instead of it feeling like an organic backstory. Technically the author is not doing anything wrong, but things like this make the writing seem shaky. Nevertheless I’m curious as to what Senju’s role is in all this. |
