So me and my brother decided to do something really crazy, start One Piece in the beginning of 2022. So anyone has a really good and not tight schedule to binge the whole show in a year or less? I'd appreciate that🙏

it won’t take you an entire year, you could catch up in a few months even with a busy schedule.

it took me like 2 years to catch up from the beginning back when it was in the middle of the Dressrosa arc, but you can read the manga or watch one pace, which I heard cuts out a lot of unimportant and repetitive things that stretch one piece out so much

If you watch 3 eps a day then you can catch up to one piece in approximately 340 days and if you watch 4 eps a day then you can catch up in 8.5 months and if you watch 6 eps in a day then you can catch up in 6 months approximately.

Hope this helped and enjoy watching :)

talk about yourself because you seem to not have any responibilities in your life, but not everyone can keep watching 30 eps a day, thats 10 hours every day

Even 10 eps a day sounds a bit much for me personally

If you are like I was, you may have one or two open days a week. If so it is easy to binge 20 on those days in 7 hours. So that would be 40 a week 25 weeks and done.

I couldn't stop at 7 hours so continued and finished in the series in right about a month.

I caught up in 4 months extremely easily.

Giving yourself a year is extremely generous, if you watch 2-3eps on weekdays and 4-5 on weekends and than watch 8-10 during holidays you can easily catch up in under 6 months.
+ you may binge watch certain arcs even during weekdays, especially marinefold and wano.

2)Just what was purpose of that topic? Watch it whenever you want °_° that's best schedule

It took me 4 months to catch up to episode 955 I’ve been watching weekly ever since and it has become my all time favorite anime. It’s not as long as you would think with every episode being 24 minutes and the openings being a couple minutes the episodes are about 21 minutes long. I always felt like I had something to watch when I was bored or was in the mood to watch some anime I think that’s the glorious thing about the length and often times I couldn’t stop watching when I started. Everyone complains about how long One Piece is but once you watch it you’ll be wishing 2000 episodes were out because watching 955 episodes at my pleasure then having to wait a week for a new episode of my favorite anime is a whole new feeling of pain haha. So for my advice 1. you should definitely watch it and don’t be intimidated by the episode count
2.You don’t have to catch up fast the anime isn’t going anywhere. Watch at your pleasure
3.if you want to catch up the fastest way simply skip the intros, (but there are a lot of very good ones) Skip the filler episodes by looking up a guide to which are Canon and which are Filler (though One Piece doesn’t have a high filler count around 13 percent I think) and just binge watch whenever you can.
Of course even with all that it will still take some time as there is no way to watch an anime fast unless you just skip through all the episodes but make sure to enjoy it and don’t skip any arcs they’re important!
Hope this was helpful and hope you have fun watching it :)

Discounting long breaks between as I caught up. It's taken me around 5 maybe 6 months to watch all of One Piece so far. That includes every episode including filler.

A year is very very doable.

A year is plenty of time to watch it, I watched most of it and plenty of other anime in a bit over a year, so you and your brother should just take it easy

The best way is this:

Watch the one pace version whenever you can (onepace.net). All the availible arcs are subbed in english, most of them are also subned in spanish and some are subbed in french and some other languages. It also has the english dub for the dubbed episodes if you preffer it.

When there is no One Pace availible for the arc you are watching you should read the manga chapters. The names of the one pace episodes have the manga chapters that are adapted in that episode, for example there are only 8 episodes of the Alabasta arc, and the last one is titled "Alabasta 8 (191-193)" iirc, so after watching it you can either continue with the anime (you have the last anime episode covered in that Pace episode in the watching guide in the one pace web) or start reading from that chapter of the manga until you reach another arc with a Pace version. (you can also watch the anime until Alabasta, but from Skypea to Wano the pace gets worse with each arc so you won't be able to complete it that fast unless you are a superhuman with the ability of never sleeping).

TLDR: watch One Pace and when it isn't availible read the manga. If you don't want to watch it subbed in the availible languages because they aren't your first language just watch until Alabasta and then read the manga.

I finished this series in a month and a half although if you want to be really quick maybe watch the episode of east blue and skypiea which are movies to cut down those arcs. If you really love the story maybe go rewatched those arcs fully once you've caught up. Otherwise just check filler lists this show doesn't have a crazy amount of filler especially in comparison to the other big 3 ( naruto and bleach). Otherwise I feel it's very easy to finish the whole series in a couple months as I've watched YouTube reactors finish the series in around a year or just a little over and that's along with all the editing and other series they do so I'm sure you'll be fine !

Nah it won't take a year. Just skip the op, flashback and ed. If you do that, it will take just a few months to catch up to the current episode.
Have a nice day and good luck finishing those episodes. Make sure to enjoy every single one of them.

Full time uni student & I work part-time, started at the beginning of August and now I'm at ~815, should be caught up mid-November
Basically it won't take you a year even if you have a pretty busy schedule

I've heard about One Pace, but the problem is that I would need to watch some arcs that are not paced.

Oh true. I heard the manga is hard to understand at first, but you can get used to it like after like 50 chapters or so

You should watch about 3 episode per day that is 1 hour per day and you would finish 1000 ep in around 1 year and till that time 50 to 60. More episodes would be released so with the same speed you would be able to complete that in around one month

I started back in 2019 (can't remember the month) so been about 2 years, I just finished the fight with doflamingo & hopefully I can catch up by the end of the year. I've taken a couple breaks afters finishing arcs so mabye 1 1/2 years actively watching it. It's all about how much time you can give it, it took me 1 month to finish punk hazard but I've now watched the majority of dressrosa in a week & a half & it's more than double the length

Just watch a lot and watch when you feel like it. You will get hooked on the show before you know it. Watching on a schedule would just make it forced.

These are some ways I recommend
Watch until marine ford end and switch to manga if u like it u can read in colour too or again watch until mf and switch to one pace now one pace just cuts out unimportant stuff like scenes taht go on for waaay too long and makes it more manga accurate or just watch one one pace it’s only 480 episodes or something
