Redo of Healer - A bit overly edgy and rape-y but it fits the description. Not really villainous but there's also: How Not to Summon a Demon Lord - MC is isekai-d to another world but is socially awkward and the only way he know how to act is when he's roleplaying as the Demon Lord character he plays in an MMO. Magic Kaito 1412 - A spinoff of Detective Conan starring one of the antagonist the phantom thief Kaito Kid. The Devil is a Part-Timer! - MC is a Demon Lord from a fantasy world that got isekai-d to our world. |

| A few that I can come up with is: Vinland Saga The ‘antagonist’ doesn’t become an MC until the 2nd half, albeit the anime has an adventure tag. Baccano! The main cast makes up half of the characters but there are definitely evil people with a main role. The anime comes from 2007, which might not fit your preferences in animation. Great Pretender Although nobody is particularly a villain, the main characters are still scammers, which is antagonistic in a lawful sense. The animation in this one is rather clean and unique compared to those of past generations. Also, don’t watch Redo of Healer. It may fit some your requests but it is definitely a horrendous piece of work. |
