| Of course. (well for me at least) Once the serious arcs start kicking in, it really goes to another level for me. But tbh, 47 episodes is still quite a bit even knowing how much of a slow start gintama is referred to have. But yes, it does improve lots over time for me |

| The "serious" arcs are simply a masterpiece. The rest of the series, that is the majority, is ok but it doesn't deserve so much credit in my opinion. |

| i never thought it was bad to begin with cause i didnt go into gintama with huge expectations,i just wanted a chill comedy slice of life which gintama is for the most part,and as for it getting better it keeps on getting better,once you start getting hooked to the show it still keeps getting better and better,the show constantly tops itself |
| I'm on episode 63 now and I can say it does get better my advice try to get to the first serious which is episode 58 or watch the first movie. I liked it since the beginning but I can't binge watch this try watching something else along with it. If you don't like it then it's not for you Gintama is definitely not for everyone. |
