The problem is there are too many anime canon episodes which are filler level quality. I don't see that will being solved anytime soon since manga is monthly.

Yeah, i know they should stop boruto and turned it into a seasonal anime

unfortunately that probably won't work. By the time manga have made enough content for just 13 episode, it would take 3 years. by that time the hype will die down and it will be cancelled.

I have heard before back in 2020 that anime was selling more than manga too. I don't know the current condition. so if they stop making anime, its unlikely they will return.

Honestly Boruto just doesn’t have those Naruto moments.
There’s so much talking and leaf politics and we don’t see things happening from a Shinobi aspect. It’s already a little awkward they are no longer fighting other Shinobi but now we are just seeing them talk for 197 I believe episodes.
At this point in Canon Naruto episodes, We were in Shippuden in the Kazekage rescue. Boruto as an anime has been shockingly underwhelming as of so far. I don’t believe the anime is going to adapt the manga correctly either. Another reason is usually we like to follow a story of nothing to hero, which we are used to with Naruto. But we are adapting to a story of everything to nothing.
Also, as for enjoyment I don’t believe people enjoy their childhood heroes being nerfed and pushed aside for a new spoiled generation.
Although, I feel it will become amazing post time skip.

I enjoy watching Boruto it’s pretty enjoyable although it’s not as good as Naruto it’s getting better and better if you guys don’t compare the two anime’s maybe you’d be able to watch it not everybody is the same as you think.

Even if you think that it is heading in that direction (while the only indicator to that is the first scene in the anime/manga but whatever) it still didn't happen, yet you say that it's one of the reasons that made you hate boruto

Sometimes I'm actually enjoyed the filler.
I just didn't like the recap Episode.

I remember the haters comeback on the Time Travel Arc, liking it...

Because the children are like a mini and shitty version of their parents. Atleast fucking change them up. The characters are flat and boring. Kara's character design looks to cartoonishy and the villains in terms of intimidating designs feels like an angry chihuahua compared to narutos antagonist like zabuza, akatsuki and orochimaru.

Katasuke sensei's suit when they were fighting Ao looks like a chinese substandard manufactured astro boy and they completely fucked Ao. He fought alongside shikaku and other ninjas to prevent madara and his 10 tailed beast to destroy the world yet he joins kara to destroy the earth?! Like what?! That is character assassination! This man was the right hand man of the 4th mizukage and now hes turning on shinobis?!

Not only that they completely nerfed the shit out of konohamaru. This boy rasengan the shit out of a pain and fucked it up to extinction and now hes getting his ass beat almost every mission. This is a man who aims to be a hokage, fucking choji is a reasonable inheritor of the title hokage than boruto konohamaru.

The way that they killed mugino is so lackluster that its an insult. I didn't even feel a single shred of emotion when this dude died. It just shows how uninteresting this character was that his dead is so insignificant. And then after that they just fucked off and took his turtle? Like huh?! Your comrade just fucking died?! They treated him like an expendable soviet soldier during ww2. I feel like that jonin dude that got killed when he was caught eavesdropping.

Another one that I criticize about boruto is there's no fucking goal! Like boruto and sarada only trains to become stronger. Like there is no clear goal. When naruto trains its because he wants to be acknowledged and become hokage one day. Sasuke trains inorder to avenge his clan and kill his older brother. Sakura wants to be a good medical ninja and wants sasuke to return to the village.

With sarada her goal is just become the hokage and git gud. The lack of goal makes the character boring and not compelling. Boruto wants to be like sasuke but thats it. Mitsuki out of the 3 has the most clear and reasonable goal of current team 7.

The threat also feels really empty. In naruto theres the akatsuki and orochimaru waiting to strike the village in no time and dont forget that the 5 nations are not on good terms so theres always a chance of another shinobi war. You're always on your toes. Especially when thet were perusing akatsuki. That shit is thrilling! With kara, its a bit meh.

They also fucked over many beloved characters with the design.

These are the many things that I hate about boruto. I do still watch the show and keep up to date with the manga because Kawaki is like jesus at this point, Saving boruto from the being absolute trash.

I did give boruto a 10/10 in rating but its not a 10 out of 10. Its just i lumped naruto, naruto shippuden and boruto together as one anime and naruto is still my favorite anime of all time but I am completely aware its not the best. Don't get me wrong there are parts that are so fucking good that it makes you jump out of your seat but the tidal wave of bullshit and really shitty decisions trumps the good in boruto.

A lot of fans watched boruto without bias and gave it a try and a lot of naruto fans was disappointed including myself.

I'll still watch it even if its a dumpster fire. It may be trash but its my trash, fuck it I have seen 190+ episodes of this shit might as well see it through the end.

No! 100% not i actually watch all of the fillers in naruto, and most of them, like almost most of them are stories from the characters past and they repeated it over and over again, I've seen obito's past almost like 20 times it think and I've seen a lot of naruto and gaara's past a lot, naruto fillers have the worst fillers in anime history

It seems like you didn't understand anything about Ao
Ao is the definition of an old fashioned ninja. He's similar to Zabuza and in fact they're both from the bloody mist village and from the same generation. He is a guy who had to kill his classmates in the academy to become a shinobi! The concept of a shinobi to them is just a tool used for missions and whenever he's no longer able to fulfill that role he is useless
After the physical and psychological loss he wentt through after the war, Ao is no longer able to be a shinobi, he lost the purpose of his life and even when he tried to rebuild his life he failed until kara stepped in and gave him the solution. They gave him hope and gave his life a purpose again, he is once again a useful tool or a shinobi in other words but instead of doing missions to his villiage which he almost lost his life for he's doing them now to kara.
This was well done imo and it touched on old naruto themes

Konohamaru had potential and i wanted him to be stronger too but they didn't nerf him, he's now the strongest he has ever been. The story just put him against some monsters like koji and victor so he was helpless

Most people already mention why I not even interested in Boruto. It ultimately feels like a long filler about the characters' kids who all feel like cheap knockoffs of their parents. If it helps, I also didn't like Naruto much post-Pain arc.

Idk I just couldn't get into it, I think it's because of a lack of a good antagonist, (I only made it to ep 58) and honestly I feel like shuppeden was a good bow on top of the series, and to me it feels like they are extending the franchise just as a money grab. I feel the same about the war arc, but at least it had an okay ending.

I really enjoy Boruto, I watched from episode 118 to episode 196 in the last week. I can't really find myself invested in animes like I used to before. But Boruto really has me hooked tbh. I feel like their characters are developing. My problem was with Boruto's powers being a complete copy of Naruto's and I couldn't imagine Boruto ever surpassing Naruto's powers. But that has started to change so my opinions have also started to change. Besides that the transition into the Kara arc has been perfect, the fight scenes are well done and animations are good in the canon episodes. The Kara arc also has me completely hooked. But I just finished the lastest episode so now I'll wait about a year so there are more episodes so I can come back and binge watch it.

And now since Kishimoto has taken over and the lead writer, I think Boruto might just one day become as good as Naruto Shippuden
