Attack on Titan: No Regrets
| as the title says, there will be a spoiler for the final chapter (139) of the manga and the final chapter of this ova, so just in case you don't enter here if you haven't read it or have known what happens, don't keep reading. as you know, in the final chapter eren somehow turns into a bird. So I thought "if he can reincarnate or become a bird, more people can too", and today I saw this ova, and when Farlan and Isabel die, then Levi, Erwin and the squad return to the walls, and Levi sees two of the sky. birds, so maybe these are levi's two friends they did not die  they became birds like eren, no need to be sad :D |

I don’t think they actually turn into a bird, it’s just isayamas long running metaphor for freedom. When someone dies and the bird is there it means they’re freed from the world of attack on titan, in erens case he is the embodiment of freedom, and so he is associated with a bird. Anyways they all died, they are not birds. you know? When I saw the final scene of the manga I forcefully tried to think "this is a metaphor of eren's freedom, just a damn metaphor" but then I remember that I arrange the damn mikasa scarf, and that is not a metaphor, which is the metaphor of that? it is too obvious that that bird was eren, that's why I thought this about farlan and isabel. also, this is just a joke XD |

Eren is dead |
