| Pretty much self-explanatory. Do you tend not to listen to it when you haven't watched that particular anime? Or do you do it the opposite way, and listen it to have an idea about the said anime? |

| I never gave it much thought, infact I have started watching a couple of anime only because of the soundtracks.. but, on the other hand due to a recent experience, I think I should avoid listening the OST of anime I intend to watch (or watch immediately) or should avoid watching the anime film/series of the music I like and strongly feel about. I recently had strangest experience while watching Secret World of Arrietty.. I've been listening to the soundtrack since a couple of years, especially 'Sho's Lament', and have developed a strong emotional attachment to the track. I was teary-eyed most of the film because of the background score... I would've had a 'normal' experience watching the film had I not known and developed a space for it (soundtrack) in my heart. The soundtrack is beautiful, but my feelings for it developed over a long period blew my film-watching experience out of proportion.. it was good, nonetheless. But I still wonder, what the soundtrack would've felt like if I listened to it the first time, while watching the film.. and what the film would've felt like.. anyway, it's all good in the end :p |

| No, if I hear an OP from a show I plan to watch and I like it, I'll add it to my playlist. Then I'm hype when I get to listen to it whenever I get around to watching the show. |

| On the contrary, just coming across an opening I like may decide what I watch next. Sometimes that works out, sometimes not so much, but anything to avoid choice paralysis. I don't go out of my way to check out any special openings or endings that could be spoilery in their content or just general tone though. |

| I feel sorry for whose watched Re:Zero 4th OP willing to watch the series later. I usually skip the OPs until 3rd episode. In fact for me now a signal of quality in a direction of a series is it skiping the OP in the first episode. NO, the first episode is not the moment to be introduced to a Opening visuals. Maybe the song. If much, put it in the place of the ED of first ep. |
