We actually kinda do and its kinda heavy-handed with it, one talks of capitalism, and another tries to get her to kill herself to remain beautiful. | This flies towards my head , i think the neiru development was delivered poorly with scientist talks like that , but what I look for ep.13 PV there is a segment that Neiru backstory is being treated specially ,maybe eps 13 in June will reveal who is Neiru soon |

Neiru has the most interesting character development in my opinion as she opens up a bit more to her friend group and we even get to see her have an emotional breakdown when she meets her "dead friend", and has to kill her. Neiru is really just trying to save her sister who stabbed her and commited suicide. Even though Momoe or Ai might be a bit more interesting, neiru does manage to be a really good character and has a very consistent personality throughout the anime. The aspect of also not knowing much about her adds to her mysterious aura for starters, opening up to someone is the most basic of character development, so much so that ai goes through that too (tho in a smaller aspect). second, "not knowing gives her a mysterious aura" is stupid in a show about characters and character development. i'm not saying the she is bad, infect, she is probobly the best one in the texting sceans, but she just doesn't hold up to the others. |
