ok I think Gabi is a important character to the show, but I think there's other characters who have even more carefully crafted personalities, ideologies and character development e.g. Eren Jäger and Reiner.

Gabi is one of the most hateable character in aot....i dont tend to hate characters but she is that one kid who i wish to just grab through my computer screen and slap her fcking lights out.....1st of all marley is in total wrong here, i understand eldians are not so saint either they used to kill, rape and subjugate innocents....but the people of paradis chose to live a peaceful life...these fcking eldians in marley love to live life as 2nd class citizens yet they call people of paradis "devils" while sharing the same blood as them lol like wtf is this logic....
Gabi wants to show world that good eldians exist but has no problem killing enemies using titan warfare where titans eat people alive....if you see from 3rd person perspectice marley is a regime that needs to be destroyed they make colonies loot other nations yet try to play the victim card...it was marley that attacked paradis now they get what they deserve

I find gabi pretty realistic and interesting actually and I’m curious how her possible redemption arc will work out even if i don’t think it will be anything complex. I actually like and understand her far more than previous seasons Eren for example

Yeah but the contrast between her and other warrior candidate's fanaticism is really overdone and there isn't really a reason for it. Reiner had the stuff with his father and how that really drove him but Gabi is eh

I know it's trashy but it's good trash, I don't think it's really in any way that good. Of course Oath Under Snow was interesting and an interesting take on Shirou and I genuinely like some of the character writing, but there is so much just flat out shit in there that I would understand anyone giving it a 1

I meant that with Reiner's father being Marleyan and him not being able to see him, how personal the conflict became for him. Gabi has shades of this as well but not enough to explain her hatred compared to the rest of the non-Paradis Eldians

Ithink it's just the way they are written, gabi hating and wanting to kill everyone while falco is more mild and wants to talk, I think it's supposed to mirror (I don't remember the exact word i'm thinking of) how eren and armin are maybe this is the reason or gabiis just built different

I guess so but from what I picked up she wanted to be a warrior candidate and hated paradis more than the others because of Reiner being a warrior and the praise he got for being one all the time. Falco has a reason to hate paradis too considering his family was apart of the eldian restorationists and tbf he does have more of a reason to want to ‘redeem’ his family but that’s just not him. Their characters have different personalities which is pretty much the only reason why gabi had so much more hatred because she isn’t as ‘nice’ as falco (idk how else to put it but you get what I mean.) So yeah you’re right, there isn’t really a reason to it but there doesn’t need to be a reason

Gabi was legit the only reason I didn´t dropped the last season. Nothing else was as interesting as her development/understanding of Paradis and why there people aren´t the demons she used to hear about. Everything else besides her scenes were mediocre at best, specially compared to Shiganshina.

Falco has lived a life worse then gabi because of his uncle's rebellion and because of it he should hate his uncle and paradise's eldian so much , so why he is so kind after all that hellish life ? Well , we don't know , Iseyama didn't give us answer , just built a peaceful character in middle of hell

If Eren killed Reiner or Marley's government (or military) then Falco had no reason to hate Eren because Eren has reason to kill them and the reason is revenge but killing innocent child and women is not part of Eren's revenge , so that's mean Falco has reason to kill Eren and Paradise soldier but he did nothing (OK don't kill them but hate them because what they did to liberyo) but Falco simply don't care about his hometown

he loves gabi so much and ready to die for her and what is the reason ? We don't know the hell beginning of his love why he so attracted toward gabi and why he loves her so much (OK don't give us flashback like Eren and Mikasa's flashback but let Falco explain his reason's in simple words)
To shorten what I said , Falco is unrealistic character that have bad writhing in Season 4 and he is created just to move the plot point and to assist Gabi

You wrong heck....read the fucking manga again, especially the last chapter...she is a female chad compared to virgin Eren plot device Jager which has a character all over the place and full of contradictions!!

She and Reiner at least have proper and satisfying development, being consistent in their actions. She was a victim of the attack on Liberio, seeing people die left and right, I think it was enough.
