| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I absolutely loved this extremely powerful episode. Well, I guess I loved her bath scene first, it was so cute in her chibi form. What I adored most was the use most faded (probably not the correct term) colors when Yano and Yoshida confronted Sadako about their relationship. It kind of felt like the colors depended on either the situation or her mood to set the tone. We also got to see more eye covering, which I found pleasant as well, sort of shot me in the heart when Sadako passed and ran away from Kazehaya. Uuuuuu~ Sadako doesn't deserve such treatment, she's pure white. =[ |

| Sawako is happy and it shows in front of her family. Full of rumors at school. Two of them are pissed, but not only don't believe but lol about Sawako starting the rumor. Good things continues to happen to Sawako. Really weird teacher for keeping Kazehaya. That weird teacher is afraid of Sawako. The rumor expands... Someone asked about the rumor, but she doesn't know and when she asked about Yano and Yoshida, who's also nearby and heard their conversation, she said they are not her friends, but both of the got taken away before listening to Sawako's explanation. She thinks that she haven't reached to the extend like both of them. She like them and wants to be friends like them. Yano is pissed. They asked Sawako if she likes them. When she was trying to answer, Yano is disappointed before hearing the explanation. Then she heard the rumor and saying bad things about Sawako. She is sad. Even she didn't greet Kazehaya because the rumor includes Kazehaya. Next day, Yano and Yoshida laughed at each other, but they began to suspect that she's the one who started the rumor. Sawako apologized them for letting them sad. Kazehaya saw Sawako crying during the class. Kazehaya asked for the reason. Sawako begins to hide from three of them, but at the same time wants to be with them. During Kimitodo, seiyuus of Sawako and Kazehaya appeared and commented. Namikawa-san even did Kimitodo's pose! There's a new seiyuu for next ep. |

| I am very sad for Sawako. I would try to help her if I could. The rumors are very unfair and disgusting. Sawako cannot defend herself due to her shyness and past isolation and I understand that. The comedy was good with those guys and Pin-san and when Sawako's father dropped the tea cup because he heard love. Powerful emotions around when Yano and Yoshida ate lunch with Sawako and Sawako made some notes for Yoshida. I still do not understand why, why, why would Sawako deny Yano and Yoshida being her friends after all that happened? Oh why? I have to go for farming being sad for Sawako. I was very disapointed too about her answer to Shino of not being friends with them. tsubasalover said: Then she heard the rumor and saying bad things about Sawako. She is sad. Yeah very sad it was for me too. tsubasalover said: Even she didn't greet Kazehaya because the rumor includes Kazehaya. That was really not right. Sawako should have more confidence somehow. tsubasalover said: Next day, Yano and Yoshida laughed at each other, but they began to suspect that she's the one who started the rumor. They also had some heavy eyes for not getting enough sleep as I saw in their face. tsubasalover said: Sawako apologized them for letting them sad. That was a good gesture but not sure if they understood it properly. I though maybe they took it more as it was her own fault for starting the rumors. tsubasalover said: Kazehaya saw Sawako crying during the class. Kazehaya asked for the reason. I really did not like her crying in the middle of the class like that. It was very depressing tsubasalover said: Sawako begins to hide from three of them, but at the same time wants to be with them. I think Sawako should talk about her honest feelings. I would also ask Yano and Yoshida to beat up Ume or teach her a lesson if only it was known that she did all that somehow. I am sure she is the culprit. |

| i was dead certain Yoshida and Yano would just stop hanging out with Sawako without asking for explanations. but the way it played out is much more powerful and dramatic, not to mention frustrating as hell! i really like how the comedic duo were given more of a personality than just sidekicks. i actually wanted to cry when Sawako heard she was ruining it for those around her and decided to avoid them for their own good. *sigh* just finished this epi and i'm already waiting like crazy for the next...hasn't happened since Lovely Complex. Good shojos are soooo hard to find. |

I think Sawako is a very realistic character actually. I know someone exactly like her back in high school who simply has less than 5% the self-confidence an average teenager should have, who always blames herself, who is extremely and frustratingly sensitive yet warmly considerate about her surroundings. For a person who had been shunned all her life to step out of her shell is a hard thing and when she does, every step is heavy and every step means thinking about what others think about her. So I don't think Sawako's characterization is ridiculous at all. When I deal with such a person, I do think it's annoying but sad at the same time. |

| Another awesome episode that makes shake your emotions. Sawako doesn't know how to express herself, she was always being isolated even up since she was a kid and her surroundings didn't help at all, and due to this, she pushed herself away from Yoshida and Yano so she wouldn't hurt them, it's the most innocent choice to do, I don't see how some people in this topic doesn't understand that. She obviously care about them both, but she doesn't know what to do in order to let her feelings speak for itself to say that she likes them both. | First half was really funny, but in the second Sawako reverts to her old personality, which to me is a little annoying (Zero-Self-Esteem). Seriously Sawako, grow a pair! |

| This whole misunderstanding episode annoys me to no end. In fact, it is all Yano and Yoshida's fault they didn't hear what Sawako had to say in the first place. Anyway, I still love them all and I hope we skip this to a better stage in the plot. Also, I can't stop drooling over the backgrounds and tones in this anime. Production I.G. takes my breath every week with this. It's amazing really. |

| Even though I totally disagree with the decision to add uneeded drama (in this way), the execution of this episode was a whole lot better than I expected. Sawako was given very solid reasons for all of her thoughts, and the other two did as well. No one's mad at each other, they're just all hurt, and too uncomfortable to say anything directly. That's high school. I'm hoping that the show isn't so contrived in the future, even if it is well executed. I'd like for this show be more different than that. I think that will be the difference between the show getting a 7 and an 8 or 9 from me. Still liked the episode though. |

| Oh my. This was a very powerful episode, and one that is definitely incredibly sobering compared to the last three. I am honestly so impressed with this series that I can barely put it into words. It's such a delicate, sweet approach to a type of series that could easily end up being boring and cliche. Sawako is undeniably kind and sweet, but her self-worth is so low that I actually feel like I'm back in high school, being made fun of and disliked for stupid reasons. It was nice to see Yano and Yoshida gain some more depth. I really, really love them, seperately and as a pair. Kazehaya is just charming and so perfect, and there should be more people like him in the world. X3 I cannot wait for a new episode. Actually, I feel like a total nooblet, but I think I am going to start the manga tonight. X3 |
