It seems pretty standard, I guess. Ain't nothing too special. It should have been better than Gta 5 but it's not on that level. I will still play it myself but the hype is gone.

The level of hype was dumb in the first place lol. The Witcher 3 is well liked because the put effort into having interesting writing in the large amounts of side content and how nice it looks on pc especially. It’s nothing mind blowing as a game itself. Combat was just alright.

Probably the thing I’ve always been most skeptical about is having a create a character. Geralt is a great main character to play as. Having his character actually makes a lot of content more interesting because they play the different tones of the stories and characters off his personality.

The speeh options are better than the usual (say nice thing) or (say nice thing with a bit of a sarcastic tone) we usually get but I don't know how far the character will actually diverge.

It also does the thing macross does, having 'legendary' in universe songs covered by current artists. It's a little thing but it helps sell the setting. Same with having radio music actually written for the world. Shit's cool.
