Been looking a few minutes. I'm trying to watch this anime that doesn't have subs.

Found some, but they don't sync. Might have to forget this.

So it looks like I'll have to get two different versions of the same anime just to be able to watch it at the quality I want. I wish all fansubbers just uploaded their torrents with all the files separate and let me remux them.

your player should have a setting to increase or decrease sub delay

but yea i dont think there is some online place that comprehensively documents all subtitle files....... or well,,,, nothing more than a cursory google can give you

internet is free for all :rainbow:
you can always upload and seed your own version.... or maybe even start a subtitle sharing mafia
there are groups dedicated to bd encodes... there should be other people like you interested in that anime at the quality you want

Yeah, but I don't wanna fix the times 96 times (96 episodes). I'll just have to waste bandwidth on the files I don't need so that I can extract the subs.

Idk if these are the ones you tried, but see if it works.

Honestly, I’d just consider streaming it. That’s what I’m gonna do for a lot of older more obscure shows I eventually ptw. It’s too troublesome to try to find seeded torrents, subs etc.

For Maison Ikkoku they released subs with fixed timing for up to episode 54 but it is more convenient to grab another release instead with corrected timing.

Thank you. They sync. Bookmarked the site.

So many typos, though. Mostly apostrophes.

None of the title cards are subbed with the SRT files EightSeven linked, which I'm assuming is because they were made (with this subtitle-scanning image-to-text program I've used before) from these PGS subs that I have to extract from the other encode and the title cards on that one are styled differently than the dialogue. So I still have to continue with the more wasteful (bandwidth-wise) solution.
