| Yeah the sound department is completely absent, they have no idea what to do with lightning SFX at all. It doesn't help that art department is running on lowest budget possible to make it worse. I mean, the wolf was defeated by gentle waves of "Tsunami", according to the art department. Maybe my definition of Tsunami is different, but it isn't gentle waves that put a monster to sleep. Oh look. Two distinct people here. Which one is the MC?  Not to mention, I still can't tell how exactly is the MC learning new spells? Is it by observing other casters? He doesn't do that (esp. for Thunder). Then is it by learning the name? That makes no sense, all names of all spells should be already known, just Google the list and learn them all. If not that, do the mages automatically know what to caste, the name of the spells at their level? Initially I thought he would learn by observing the other lightning mage in the school, in secret, but they don't even mention the other guy after the first episode. So many fucking questions, but zero answers so far. Oh well, 3/5 episode. Most of the episodes are mid/average and primarily because of underwhelming spell casting. |
