After watching Cop Craft's 8th episode, it did not impress me much and was having high hopes for it and hopefully, the last few episodes get me interested.

With that said, I love police Anime with plenty of action and fun. It could have some light-hearted moments but something you'd wanna sink your teeth in. OVA Anime like Gunsmith Cats is fantastic. It is something I fucking love. Hot girls, gun fights and plenty of action.

It could be gritty with plenty of blood and R-rated stuff, I don't mind either or but I want something that is entertaining that makes you on the edge of your seat. It could be old or recent, give me something impactful!!!!

Can anyone suggest me kick-ass police/crime/city anime series??

I highly recommend the Patlabor franchise. It has well-written characters, almost none of which fall into silly clichés, lots of action & humour and much variety to it. The movies are quite different from the series, though:
The first one is a detective drama that takes a while to fully build up, the second movie is a political thriller that isn't afraid to debate philosophical questions and the third one even has horror elements to it - kinda similar to the Resident Evil games.

If you enjoyed Gunsmith Cats, check out Dirty Pair and Dominion Tank Police.

Taiho Shichau zo (You're under arrest) might also be worth looking into it, though I can't fully recommend it since I haven't watched much of it aside from the first OVA, yet.

I think you should try Psycho Pass since it seems to fit your criteria. Dimension W also fits and it might even have what you were looking for in Cop Craft

Bungou Stray Dogs + the sequels Bungou Stray Dogs 2nd Season, Bungou Stray Dogs 3rd Season, the OVA Bungou Stray Dogs: Hitori Ayumu(Watch before the third season.) and the movie Bungou Stray Dogs: Dead Apple(Watch only after the second season!) <- More light hearted but still has it's serious and dark moments, if you don't mind super powers, it's basically about a super powered detective agency fighting against an equally super powered mafia organization + other throw in some other evil super natural organizations as well.

Cat's Eye(I watched this as a child and can't remember much from it except that i liked it)

Detective Conan(Episodic case of the day anime, i haven't watched all of it but i really liked what i did watch)

Katekyo Hitman Reborn!(The first 20 episodes are slice of life, comedy character introduction arcs, after that, the first battle arc starts) <- Maybe not exactly what you are looking for, but it's about Super powered(again) mafia families battling against each other.)

Does the Lupin III franchise not have enough action for you? Lupin III: Part V is pretty entertaining, and you don't need to know about the earlier installments to watch it.

Also I don't see any of the "girls-with-guns" shows from Bee Train on your list: Noir, Madlax, and El Cazador de la Bruja.

Maybe give Baccano! a try? It's a bit complicated to follow at the outset since it has a large cast and multiple interwoven story lines.
