I'm looking for anything really, be it Anime, Manga, Manwha or a Webtoon.

Things I've watched/read and liked:
Given
Doukyuusei
Killing Stalking
Acid Town
Litchi Hikari Club
This Ending
Warehouse
Banana Fish (even though I saw it as more of a platonic relationship, the whole story and main characters were too good)

Things I absolutely hate in Shonen Ai or Yaoi:
1. not having a plot
2. Dividing people in Alpha/Omega/Beta (like how did it even turn into a trend?)
3. Dividing people in Seme/Uke
4. Making it look as if females are extinct
5. Everything wrong with Boku no Piko. That. Kind. of. "Relationship".
6. Main characters being a grown ass man and a kid, or father/uncle and son.

P.s. I know about Yuri on Ice and No. 6 so I'll be waiting for other recommendations
P.P.s. Yeah I'm that person, that reads Yaoi for plot.

I will be honest, i dont really watch that much yaoi stuff, since i am not into it and all, but seeing as there isn't any other replies, i might as well give shot.

Of those few yaoi anime i have seen, non of them fit your criteria, but if you are fine with yaoi subplots, or anime's with similar style to yaoi anime's, then i got a few.

https://myanimelist.net/anime/688/Uta_Kata

Uta Kata looks like a typical magical girl anime (yea the mc is a girl so the yaoi stuff has to be a subplot and they dont get that far into it), but the further you get into the anime, the more the plot/conflict starts to unfold.

https://myanimelist.net/anime/8426/Hourou_Musuko

Wandering Son is about young teens struggling with their own sexuality. The story can get a bit heavy at some points and while i dont really like watching those kind of shows, i am still glad i watched it.

https://myanimelist.net/anime/34262/Oushitsu_Kyoushi_Heine

The Royal Tutor Heine has a similar art style to some Shounen Ai's and the characters sometimes makes some suggestive "advances", but its not shounen ai/yaoi it just looks like it at first.

I hope one of these is to your liking.

Happy anime watching :)

Why are you waiting to watch Yuri!! on ICE?

Samurai Flamenco - It has some fun female characters as well along with the two male mains. Here they are in action as "The Flamenco Girls."

Well these conditions exclude most of them though.

Gravitation I've heard many good things about. It does have seme/uke dynamics to an extent but it's a relatively tasteful depiction (probably thanks to originally being published in a shoujo magazine) and it has bands and shit so it must have a semblance of plot. Not exactly ideal but probably the best you can get in animated form apart from Given.

Also not exactly a BL but Our Dreams at Dusk, more commonly known as Shimanami Tasogare is a great manga with LGBT elements. Probably the best I've seen personally. It's about the struggle of finding yourself, coming to terms with your identity and opposing prejudice. Main character is gay and he has a crush. Side characters also get a great deal of focus and he isn't the only gay character either.

I thought I was the only one who reads shounen ai/yaoi for the plot, they always give me weird looks when I say that.
I would recommend Koimonogatari.

Kaze to Ki no Uta Sanctus: Sei Naru Kana -- Thought I'd never watch a bl show but this was in one of my friend's top 10 and I was attracted by the setting and art besides -- wouldn't ya know I ended up giving it a 9 score.
Avatar: Anzu Kadotani from Girls und Panzer. XMas awesomeness version by Charenji :)

Mo Dao Zu Shi, the (light?) novel is really really good. There’s also an anime adaptation to it, currently releasing the 2nd season; season 1 doesn’t have many shounen-ai elements to it, which might be either because of censorship, or simply because it only covers the parts of the source that don’t have many shounen-ai elements, if any, either (so the potential censorship will only become apparent later on). Oh, and the manga (manhwa?) adaptation should be mentioned as well, though I haven’t even peeked into it, so can’t say much about that.

"Number Call" is a great Shounen-ai Manga that I recommend to everyone.

"Asterisk" is also really good, although that Manga has no "real romance," and one only assumes that the guys like each other, but it's definitely a fun, exciting read.

Thanks guys for recommendations, I'll be sure to check all of them out. I've only watched Hourou Musuko from listed titles, so fujioshi in me is quite grateful for many new ones. ^^
