i cant tell who is saying what

i am about 100 pages into the omnibus collection by dark horse (american english), and i often have a lot of trouble discerning which character is saying what in a conversation. has anyone else had this problem? if so, how did you deal with it? if not, what allowed you to tell which character said something? (basically the same question for those last two there.)

Watch the contrasting backgrounds behind the dialogue bubbles for clues-- for example, in conversations involving Kazuhiko, his dialogue bubbles will usually have a black background behind them, and other characters' will use either white or grey backgrounds in contrast. (Now, granted, sometimes the exact color combination will change, even within the same conversation; however, there's usually a contrast of some kind if needed.) This pattern repeats with some other characters' conversations as well. :)
