The anime is gonna pass where the manga is at, which obviously means that the light novel is the proper source, not considering that the manga itself is based off the LN. Yeah so please change it

the anime opening credited "Monthly Shōnen Sirius" as the original work (which the manga runs in). but they take some parts from the LN as well

that may be but many novel anime also credit the manga that are based on the novel in order to get people to read the manga instead of the novels. This is clearly based on the Novel not the manga.

that may be but many novel anime also credit the manga that are based on the novel in order to get people to read the manga instead of the novels. This is clearly based on the Novel not the manga.
... it's copyrighted under kodasha (manga publisher)

no, LN publisher is Micro Magazine and they're part of the production committee as well.

But they aren't wrong, the manga is a bit different from the LN even though the LN is the source of the manga. So the anime is adapted from the manga but they also take tidbits from the LN. So basically it's like 75% manga 25% LN. And also you said the anime is going to pass the manga, I don't know what gave you that idea, the anime is pretty far behind from the manga. And a post on Reddit also said that the manga would have to go farther before they can make a season 2 of this anime.
