| Episode 20 of GeGeGe no Kitarou (2018): https://www.crunchyroll.com/gegege-no-kitaro/episode-20-memories-of-the-yoka-776051 One of the only anime episodes I know of that actually confronts Japan's role in the War. Most shows skirt the subject (Joker Game) or rewrite history (Senkou no Night Raid) because Japan, unlike Germany, has never owned up to its actions. You're better off with fantasy or historical shows like Arslan Senki or the recent Angolmois. |
