The second kiss was even worse. It wasn't because she hadn't expected it, which she hadn't. Twice in a span of a minute had Luna "one-uped" her. She had already been on her way to the bar when she felt the girl grab her by the wrist and pull her back. Her surprise was followed swiftly by the warmth and the soft of Luna's lips gracing her already burning cheeks. They turned to fire almost immediately and, long after Luna had left her with a parting shot and returned to her seat, Clo could still feel her embrace; feel the slight sting of cold from the moisture she'd left behind. Then there was the shot itself:
"Your kinda cute when you blush... makes me want to see more of that face."
There was also something about not wanting to wait but the beating in her chest and in her ears was drowning it out. She scrambled for some kind of reply, digging through the cogs in her head that were refusing to work on account of unexpected physical contact. In her floundering mental state, she grabbed at the one thing she found hard to ignore, the one thing she couldn't wait to stare into. She wondered if she could discover the color of ecstasy in the hues of her eyes.
"Well... your eyes! They're... UGH!" Of course her intended reply was delivered as something less than intelligible. She couldn't think straight.
Flustered, she half stormed, half stumbled back behind the bar and into the kitchen, passing the mirror on her way to where her belongings were waiting. She caught a glimpse of herself against the reflective surface and noticed that it wasn't just her cheeks anymore... her entire face had turned red. Her entire fucking face. She could almost see the steam rising from her eye lids.
...Oh... that does it...
The end of her shift arrived sooner rather than later, mostly because she clocked out a minute or two early. She'd definitely hear from Nadira about it but at the moment she could have cared less. Her world had turned to odd mixtures of gold and blue, a breath of fresh air from and the constant barrage of red from before. The rude and out of place comments from a previous customer and the unquenchable rage from her boss were far from the first thing on her mind. She'd deal with Nadira when it came time... and everyone else on her next shift. For now, she had a rematch to take care off and this time, she wasn't planning on getting soaked... first.
Clo threw her apron against the wall, missing it's intended hook, grabbed her pack off the ground and stuffed the plushie cat she'd received from Hakuya inside. It's head poked out of the opening at the top as she swung it over her back and left the café. Outside, Luna was still seated where Clo had left her, the girl absentmindedly enjoying her cake and unawares that Clo was coming up behind her... at least until Clo cupped the right side of Luna's face with her left hand and turned Luna toward herself. Clo's palm slid along Luna's cheek, her fingers pushing into her hair until her thumb caught on her ear. Pulling firmly but gently, she tilted Luna's face up toward hers and leaned in, pressing her lips against Luna's.
She tasted sweet. Soft. Wet... Hot.
Her tongue slipped underneath Luna's lower lip and she pulled it into her mouth, biting on it gently before she pulled away... but only an inch.
"Fuck that cake. I have something else for you to eat."
Clo grabbed Luna's hand and pulled her away from the table and too the dorms.
>Clo and Luna leave the Café and head to Clo's Room.
Rem walked up to Lanz (@linette), his eyes wide as he watched the pair walk off.
"Uhh... What... can I... get you...?
