Mini Game v4: THE REAPER GAME | GAME OVER

Section I: General Game Guidelines
1. ALL communications regarding ongoing games is prohibited. Do not mention anything
about this game outside of the game thread and dead chat/spectator chat. It doesn’t
matter if you think it will have no affect on the game, as long as it is ongoing you are
expected to treat this game as though it doesn’t exist. If someone sends you a message
about the game, please screenshot and send it to the hosts asap.

2. Do not ever directly quote private communication with the moderators. You may not
directly quote the wording from your role PM, if you want to claim you must paraphrase
instead. In addition to role PMs, private communication also includes questions to the
mod and private communication with other players such as secret chats. If you’re ever
unsure about what you can and cannot say, run it by the moderators first.

3. Be sportsmanlike and respectful to the other players. Remember that there is a real
person behind the computer screen and be mindful of their feelings. As a general rule,
attacking someone's play, reasoning, or opinions is acceptable; attacking someone with
personal insults is not.

4. Only living players and game moderators may post in the game thread. If you are
dead, do not post whatsoever. There will be a dead chat to talk in instead. If you are not
in the game, do not post whatsoever. There will be a spec that for you to join instead if
you wish.

5. You must play to your win condition. No throwing the game for your own team.

6. If you ever have a question about the game rules or setup, you are encouraged to
message the host. Questions about the game or setup will be answered through
private communication instead of publicly, whenever possible.

7. All forum rules of MyAnimeList still apply. See the Site & Forum Guidelines for further
details.

8. All moderator decisions are final.

9. Extra note. In this setup, all flavor and abilities have been distributed randomly. If you
try to flavorgame or modgame, you will not be doing it against me, you will be doing it
against random.org. This is your warning.

Section II: Phases
1. Each Day phase will last for 24 hours, except for Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, which will last
48 hours. This game has special phase lengths. See the set-up section below.

2. Day phases may be extended up to 24 hours whenever a player replaces in. Day
phases may also be extended by any amount at the hosts discretion; however
this will be used sparingly. This probably won't happen.

3. Each Night phase will last for 24 hours. Nope, no night phases here.

4. Living players may post in the game thread at Night, but it is not required. Nope

5. Players with Night actions must submit their actions to the hosts via PM at least 1 hour
before the end of the phase. No night actions either.

Section III: Voting and Lynching
1. This game uses plurality lynch system. The player with the most votes at the end of the
phase will be lynched. There is no lynch lock system in place.

2. Tied votes will result in an RNG lynch between the wagons with the highest number of votes.

3. All votes must be bolded, like this: Vote: Crossbell. If your vote is not bolded, it does
not count.

4. Additionally, please try to make your votes on a new line if possible. This is not required,
but it helps me out a lot with visibility, and in exchange you will be rewarded
with frequent and accurate votecounts.

5. In order to remove your vote, unvite in bold like this: Unvote: Crossbell. Unvoting is
not required before placing a new vote.

Section IV: The Mafia Players
0. There are no mafia, so ignore this whole section. See set-up for actual useful info.

1. The mafia have access to a secret chat where they may discuss with no limitations.
They may talk freely at Night as well as during Day.

2. The mafia has the ability to kill one player every Night, however they must choose a
member of the mafia team to perform that kill.

3. A member of the mafia cannot perform a kill and use an ability in the same Night.
However, this rule does not apply if they are the last member of the mafia team
remaining.

Section V: Inactivity
1. Inactivity is frowned upon and makes the game boring. So please be as active as you
can.

2. In order to meet the minimum activity requirements, you must make at least 5 posts
that contribute to the game state during each Day phase. If you do not meet this activity
requirement, you will receive a prod.

3. If you do not meet the activity requirement again, you will be replaced or modkilled at
the moderator’s discretion. Don’t let this happen to you !

This game consists of only two factions: the Reapers and the Players. In this game the
Players play the role of the informed minority, aka the mafia. The Players possess a 1-
shot factional kill, however it is optional to use. (Note: to avoid confusion, those
who are playing in the game will be collectively referred to as Participants. The word
Player is reserved to specifically refer to the informed minority faction).

The Reapers' win condition is: Eliminate all Players before one week is up.

The Players' win condition is: Survive to the end of the Reaper Game.

This game is Nightless, meaning there will be Day phases only. Additionally the game will
last for a maximum of four phases, which translates to exactly one week in real-life time.

Day One will last for 48 hours.
Day Two will last for 48 hours.
Day Three will last for 24 hours.
Day Four (Final Day) will last for 48 hours.

Days 1-3 will employ a Plurality Lynch system. The player with the most votes at the
end of the phase will be lynched. Should there be a tie, the lynch will be decided by RNG.
There is no lynch lock system in place.

The Final Day will employ a Kingmaker system. The player with the most votes at the
end of the phase will be declared the Game Master. The game master will decide two
players to be lynched, and afterwards the game will end. Additionally, the voting in the
Final Day will be influenced by Reaper Points, which you can read more about below.

Over the course of the game, participants can earn Reaper Points through a variety
of means. Each participant's Reaper Point total will become the magnitude for their
vote on the Final Day. For example, if a player has 3 Reaper Points on the Final Day,
their vote will count as 3 votes.

Reaper Points are automatically given out to each participant (including Players) at the
end of Days 1-3, based on the way that participant voted at the end of that phase:

Voted on a wagon that lynched a Player: 2 points
Voted on a wagon that lynched a Reaper or did not vote: 0 points
Voted on another wagon that did not result in a lynch: 1 point

Reaper Points are also gained through each participant's role abilities. All role abilities
in the game are centered around gaining Reaper Points. Players are no exception
and they may gain Reaper Points through their roles as well. Reaper Point totals will not
be made public until the Final Day.
