| I think you're missing the point of this series. KonoSuba is a parody of the isekai genre, not a typical power fantasy story. Yes, the main chars do gain some new skills and stuff every here and there throughout the story but whenever that happens it's still pretty much exclusively for comedic purposes in one way or another KonoSuba is not about an initially weak neet who ends up gaining more and more powers through hard work and determination in order to be able to beat the living shit out of some evil demon lord. It's about a group of incompetent morons doing everyday activities as adventurers in a fantasy world and running into all sorts of ridiculous troubles all the time solely for mean-spirited comedic effect; oftentimes caused by their own stupid mistakes backfiring upon them. KonoSuba isn't epic; it's hilarious |
