Okay that's awesome, I will watch only the JP version since I'm not into Chinese language. If they are the same, I will watch the JP and stick to it, if it's not same, then I will watch both.

Looks interesting!
We haven't had a decent shounen-ai show in ages (imo. Please don't shoot.)
The plot also looks original enough (And well, there is plot! It's an improvement already!) and the original art is gorgeous!

It's not announced if it's going to be same as the OVA one. But the voices will be Japanese.

the ONA are different from the manhua tho, I just hope the japanese version are faithfully follow the original story. and also the ONA ending is just a mess I think.

eh.... wait till they confirmed if it differs form the chinese version or not. will only watch if it's some sort of a remake else i stick with the chinese version, since I liked the chinese voices. it felt like there was a great chemistry between the main voice actors which made it so much fun.

i still have the feeling it's just gonna be a 2ep in 1 japanese dub version. ( 2 in 1 episode, because the chinese version was a 20ep à 10 min, so they probably will just cut it together and sell it as a 20min/10ep for tv ). so i kinda surprised that this already got a seperate entry since based on preview and staff members it looks like just a dub version

Is it really BL or just webcomic is? I mean I quickly checked some of chinese eps and didnt really see any BL scenes between main characters, only bromance, but hopefully I was just unlucky. I mean the episodes I've fast played have less chemistry or bromance than even Owari no Seraph has.

I'm really hyped for this anime because, I've read finish the manhua (still on-going) and watched the chinese version anime. ITS WAS REALLY GOOD, CANT WAIT FOR THE JAPANESE VERSION

I was disappointed too, there was more BL scenes in the manhua than the actual anime, but in the (apparently) last ep of the chinese version anime, they did kiss

I want to watch this but I have absolutely no clue about the franchise or the original Chinese webcomic it was adapted from. Honestly the animating studio scared me a little as I'm still traumatized from watching their previous works. Anyone knows if this will be otherwise as I'm quite interested in the premise.

Nice! I hope the Japanese adaption cuts out that random-ass mahou shoujo scene (it wasn't a ms scene btw, just reminded me of one). It's a pity a lot of ppl don't want to give the original show a shot. As for the people who say this is just a Japanese dub, since some staff members are different, I'm pretty sure it's a remake.

If the amount of BL is the same as in the Chinese anime, I'll warn you that you shouldn't expect too much tho. I'd say it's kinda on the level of No.6, but with less relationship development. And another thing that might disturb BL fans is that Duanmu Xi (=Ki Tanmoku) has a (quite likable imo) fiancée.

Just saying before anyone gets their hopes too high.

It's a nice anime tho! Lovable characters, I really appreciated how they broke free of the BL stereotype (especially Yang/You). They're really likable imo. If the JP adaption tries to improve the weak parts of the Chinese series, it'll be really worth watching!
I'm really curious how the voice cast will turn out! In the Chinese version, some sounded very robotic tbh... Not all of them of course, I think Yinzhe's va for example did an amazing job. And Situ Li's voice got better at the end. But Xi's cousin tho. Someone save her...

Am i the only one who s really dissatisfied about protagonists' Japanese name i wish they didn't alter it from the original ;( and i liked the Chinese version ver much .
I wonder how much fan service we are gonna get from this anime, though i wish they stuck to the manhua this time.

tbh the more infos and pics i see the more i'm convinced it's just a dub version.
i just checked and all those "new key visual" are just the same as in the chinese version.

the only change i can see is that they may pull like in psycho pass and psycho pass re:start a two in one episode edited version. that would explain why those "key visual" screenshot from ep 1 contains scenes from ep 1 & 2 of soul contract chin. version

I'm sorry if it will offend anyone but I've never watched Chinese cartoons.
So I was wondering how Japanese this will be? I want to feel comfortable but I heard it's only dub in Jap and the OP in Chinese. Is the action good? Otherwise, I might not pick it up.

I wished they'd adapt Silver Diamond too, that's my favorite action Shounen-Ai.

Edit: It seems the one of the main has a fiance? Damn, why. I'll just wait for another series to be animated I guess.

i watched them side by side, only changes where that they slightly shortened a few (speaking) scenes,edit out "fade to black transition" and of course the op of episodes since it was a 2in1 episode like i assumed.
there was no additional scenes or real reeditings. it's simply a dub verson. it has even less changes than the other jap dub versions of chinese shows like to be hero ect where they cut out some jokes that could not be translated ect.

well as i said before it's about 99.9% the same. i watched both episodes side by side and there wasn't really any changes besides they show the epiosde title at different places and that the japanese version has shorten some scences. it wasn't really important like: shorten speaking scenes for dub, or shorten when they show the surrounding or they edited out a "fade to black" transition and use a normal transition.

guess it's just done to make the episode fit within the timeslot since they are two episodes à 12min cut together and yes the commercial break is always inbetween those but it's still kinda awkward thing to do bc of the episode pacing. still think it's not a smart choice and should have go with 12min episodes.

still wonder it got a seperate entry on MAL because it's basically a dub and compared to other jap dubbed chinese cartoons it's less edited: e.g. to be hero was much more edited for the jap dub bc of some visual jokes or chinese jokes weren't working so they cut out like 2min per episodes and stuff like that.
