Examples: Ashita no Nadja - main character thought she was an orphan all this time but later finds out that her mother's a very powerful noble The Sex Contract - (can only be found in zingbox but w/e) the girl is suffering to get money to pay for her grandpa's surgery and hospital bills and later on it's revealed by this guy who really likes her (he looked for information about her) that she's actually an important person due to the fact that information from before she was 12 years old was being blocked and hidden by the government Tegami Bachi - I've only read the first few chapters but I know Lag's mother is a really important person in the capital (she's the goddess? ...don't spoil me) Attack on Titan - lolololololololol Eren's important. We all know this. But it's only explained (and is still unfolding) later on in the series Vampire Knight - main girl who was supposed to be normal turns out to be a pureblood (lololol I love stories like this) More details~

Anyways, this is completely different from your examples but Berserk. It's different for a couple reasons, but the main thing is that the "chosen one" is the antagonist and not the protagonist, so the story follows the unchosen hero seeking revenge on the chosen villain. |

The way it was portrayed really wasn't my style though. I've also heard of demon god daimaou (I think I heard it as demon king daimaou, if they're different then.. my bad) I'll read that later on when I feel like it o3o I've read and watched nura: rise of the yokai clan (not in order though), and I've tried it countless of times, usually not in order though, and never finished. Whenever I did try to finish, I just got sick of the repeating scenes and it left me with a bored impression. So maybe once I'm not sick of seeing the same scene over and over I'll try it again .-. Ao no Exorcist... ehehehehehehehe there's a looot of yaoi djs for this, obviously I know about it hehehehehe.. oh, excuse me >_> anyway, I've also tried watching this but for some reason, I got bored LOL.
