I'm really excited about the new and smaller NES system. I always wanted to play some of those retro games. Anyone else looking forward to it? I'm just curious since it's getting a lot of hate because it doesn't play the cartridges and only plays the 30 games it comes with.

Sounds like a really shitty emulator that you need to buy. Imma take a look, never heard about it.

Probably not. Have you tried to play super mario bros 3 on the wii U. Fucking input lag.

Anime is good, fucking deal with it.

No. I prefer emulators and a keyboard.

Not buying it. There's better options out there like an emulator.

Yeeep, hope i't's not a "good looking emulator" 'cause I can't take it anymore hahaha I prefer the original one but nowadays it is too expansive :(

It's completely pointless when you can already purchase any of the games it's included with of your choice on Virtual Console.

At least with the Retro-N line of and Supaboy systems, I can actually use my old cartridges.

Personally I think it's missing to many essential NES games to be worth buying.

I already have the only games on the thing that would interest me in other forms, plus I've already got five consoles plugged into my TV, I don't really need another device to plug into it.

That said, if we could get an SNES controller that's compatible with the Wii Remote like the NES controller that comes with this thing, I'd be down for that. It would make playing Virtual Console SNES and GBA games far more comfortable.

Why have you not played NES games when they're so easy to emulate?

Because some people want to play these games without pirating them? I mean, easy to emulate, sure, but this is an obvious attempt by Nintendo to try to curb piracy.

The thing looks pretty cool, would get it to play Final Fantasy Castlevania and Zelda.
Propably wouldnt touch the rest though, and that makes me think that 60€ isnt justifying the price/value ratio

It does look interesting enough that I might get it at some point, but not before I get a new computer at the very least.

Because therein lies a legal loophole. Unless you own the original system and the games, you're practically emulating illegally.
