How much hours would you like to work in a job? And why?

I would prefer to be NEET, especially because it's been a dream of mine to be NEET, but I don't think that's financially possible for me right now. Thinking about part-time, but I have my doubts on weather that's doable. and it would have to be at least 20 hours, I think 30 hours would be nice.

also I'm not sure if my defintions of part time and full time are correct, so I apologize upfront. i just know that part time is less than full time work.

I like working full-time, so 40 or more is my choice.
It gives me something to do since I have a lot of free time without work.
I would just read manga all day and/or stay bored if I worked part-time.

I work part time at my local walmart since I'm still a student, and I spend about 20 hours per week working. My dream is to reduce that by 19 hours and 59 minutes, and still get paid the same.

Full-time because I need to pay for a lot of things. Gotta start investing for a future house :P

Well I'd like to work zero hours but that's not exactly feasible.

But I try to prioritise free time over money, you can't buy time.

40+ hours so I can feel that I'm doing something productive so that I can live in the city I want and travel to the countries I want. I ain't going to get that if I be a lazy fuck unless I win the lotto.

hmm, I guess the question depends largely on your goals and what it takes to achieve those.

yeah this is a big issue for me as well. I want free time.

or maybe I'm just bad at organizing my free time working full-time? I've been using a planner, that helps a little bit.

I'm fine working part time. Some weeks I work less than 10 hours. I would prefer to work longer shifts than more shifts. This week I work 5 days each for 4 hours. At my first job I would frequently get 8 hour shifts and I even worked for more than 35 hours one week (the minimum for full time here). I'm still living with my parents and I don't really need the money for anything currently, but it will be nice to have some money saved up for the future.

40 hours would earn me more money than I'd know what to do with. 25-30 hours a week is good for me and still leaves me with enough money to live off.

This is MAL. This thread is going to have more zeros in it than a Hangyaku no Lelouch cosplay convention. Heh.

I work full time as a caregiver currently.

I've worked part time as a sandwich artist for Satan..I mean Subway. Job was stupid easy but I could only close due to college. At times it would be so boring and other times I would be cursing my manager for only putting me on the schedule for lunch time when Bonnaroo was going on. Damn high/drunk kids ordering ten sandwiches at a time like "Ummmm, let me get....some lettuce...hmmm....do you have tomatoes?...oh never mind I see them smiling at me right there!"

I worked full time in a bakery for a little while. That job blew. I made good money but then my hours started getting cut. I had car payments to make, rent, etc and I was paying court fines at the time so I needed a stable income.

After that I worked in a grocery store part time/full time in the produce department. I got offered assistant management but I declined and eventually turned in my notice for personal reasons.

Full time all the way.

Right now weekends or 3 days a week, nights preferably. Maybe work up to full time.

So long as the natural light (sun) is still shining outside, i'm okay. Working at night just makes me distressed.

I'm trying to not work at all, but do what I love and make money off it.

LOL, the amount of times that me and my friends have gone to Subway after getting high is endless. One time we brought all the cookies there and the cashier was just laughing. But I'm not annoying when I'm high, I know exactly what type of sandwich I want, no hesitation haha.

I like to work full time at fapping at korean cartoons. I wouldn't mind if it means not studying anymore.

My parents still let me leech off them even though I'm an adult. This way I can get closer to the neet lifestyle, and waste my life guiltlessly on mangoes and MAL.

Thank God you have that kind of comprehension and consideration. Lol. I was not always a cheerful sandwich artist. And no joke. That guy said the tomatoes were smiling.

If I still would get paid as much I would work as less as possible. As it stands now I need the money from working full time though.

I don't mind working full time as long as I don't have to get up stupidly early and drive in shit traffic. Which is impossible to avoid here.
Not working would make me feel unproductive and useless and send me into despair.

It's usually amateur potheads that bug out whenever they get high. People who get high everyday usually are so normal you can't even tell they're high.

Full-time, definitely. I want to work. I want discipline and I want the money.

It's important for me that unless the work I do is meaningful and enjoyable, to be close to home. If I'm going to work a meh-inducing job, at least I won't spent time on the rides.
