Then a man approaches them to tell them that Trihexa had made its movement once again.
But this time it split in 6 destinations. Trihexa has 7 heads and that's the number of bodies it could split into.
4 of them went to attack another mythology. And 2 of them went to attack the human world. The two locations being attacked in the human world are Europe and sea of Japan.
The two Trihexa in the human world is accompanied by Azi Dahaka and Apohis respectively (also by evil dragons + fake sekiryuutei).
Slash Dog got an information that Apophis who is with the Trihexa in Japan has the Holy Grail which the DxD must retrieve.
But they still split into two groups. One group would consist of most of DxD forces + other forces. They would be fighting the enemy force in Japan.
The other group consists of Vali team + Slash team would be heading to Europe to counter the enemy force (+ forces of other mythology).
Rias asks about where Sona and Sairaorg are. They find out that they are fending of the rebellions at the Bael territory.
Regarding the ExE world. In the afterword Ishibumi said Highschool DxD wont cover that part. So most likely in his new series in the future. Rizevim already told about the existence of the'r world to ExE world and Ajuka predicts that ExE would probably contact them (whether its invasion or not) in 30 years.
It also talked about the World Rating Game tournament. And Vali telling Ise that he wants to fight Ise's team (not the Gremory group led by Rias but Ise's own team) as his rival. And Vali suggested that Ise shouldn't limit his view on making his team with just Evil Pieces and that he could form a group outside it like Vali's team. Well, the very few remaining top brass suggested to promote Ise to a High class Devil. So we will most likely find out about Ise's potential class change in volume 22.

Azi Dahaka has reached the same power level as that of Two Heavenly Dragons just like Apohis and Crom Cruach. Vali becomes a True Lucifer where his armor becomes silver + black due to Ophis's help (just like the time with Ise in volume 20). His form is also called Diabolos Dragon (DxD). He gains twelve wings of Lucifer in that form. It was a close match due to time restriction but Vali manages to defeat Azi Dahaka. Vali uses his own version of Longinus Smasher called Satan Lucifer Smasher and Albion's lost technique (a poison technique which could kill anyone apart from Ophis, GR, and Ddraig).

Ise initially tried to fight him without using his new form. Though his CxC wasn't strong enough to take Apophis. So he changes into DxD fairly quickly and defeats him by using Infinity Blaster; his new Longinus Smasher.

Well the thing with you is that you only saw little so you commented on that, I won't criticize you for incompetence in that matter but if you may ever read the novels you will then realize what all the fans wish for this series. So next time before calling something garbage you need to first know everything about it.
And about 4th season speculations, well there isn't a concrete news but there is very high possibility we will get some news next month.

They don't die but they seal themselves with him. Therefore we will great losson our hero's side. Vali will receive high lineage power up and will become the strongest lucifer. Ise will lose the ability to perceive and feel the power of breats (Lol) which is almost a punishment worse than death for him. And there are many other revelations let's these be for now.

Vali vs Azi Dahaka.
Azi Dahaka has reached the same power level as that of Two Heavenly Dragons just like Apohis and Crom Cruach. Vali becomes a True Lucifer where his armor becomes silver + black due to Ophis's help (just like the time with Ise in volume 20). His form is also called Diabolos Dragon (DxD). He gains twelve wings of Lucifer in that form. It was a close match due to time restriction but Vali manages to defeat Azi Dahaka. Vali uses his own version of Longinus Smasher called Satan Lucifer Smasher and Albion's lost technique (a poison technique which could kill anyone apart from Ophis, GR, and Ddraig).
Ise vs Apophis.
Ise initially tried to fight him without using his new form. Though his CxC wasn't strong enough to take Apophis. So he changes into DxD fairly quickly and defeats him by using Infinity Blaster; his new Longinus Smasher.

I would say I'm sad to see it all come to a close, then I remembered that DxD shares it's universe with Slash-dog, I highly doubt that DxD's finale will be the finale for these characters

There's a few options for what he'll do. The first and most likely is University DxD with the main cast entering college with a short timeskip.
The next would be a full blown EX series 30 some years in the future with his kids as the mains, but it's honestly too early for him to do that given the popularity of the main cast still.
He may take a break after this final arc and work on the side projects instead for a while. Slashdog is something ongoing still. He's also wanted to do a prequel with Sirzechs, Ajuka and Grayfia detailing the war era some 2000 years ago. Well the author said there will be more romance in this last arc but the publisher and editor can only allow Issei to go so far on screen, because the novel is rated so that anyone under 18 can buy it.

Freed was interesting, but I don't think he really deserves a full story of his own, though maybe just a short story. If the main storyline ends, I'd at least like to have a volume or two dedicated to an afterstory, set a few years afterwards where they've settled down a bit. I think it'd be nice to see a new side to the characters like that. But I personally feel like the DxD universe has a whole lot of potential for spin-offs and the like. If I wanted to see a spin-off of any character, it'd have to be Azazel.
I think Azazel's backstory could be interesting, especially in comparison to the biblical/mythological stories about him. He's also just a really entertaining character with his 'mad scientist' vibe and sense of humour.
