Yo, I'm looking for a mature manga with a plot that will constantly make me think. Such as Homunculus, Btooom!, Yellow Heart(scattered but I really liked it) and yes Ichi The Killer. I'm really looking for some fucked up characters that do a lot of fucked up things. If you could suggest a story with a romantic subplot, that'd be amazing. I have read many many manga and will attempt to list the ones I liked that are packed into the genre.

Tsumi To batsu- a falsified romance, Cross and Crime(fucked up character like Keito), Arigatou, Gantz, Gangsta, Oyasami PunPun, Strain, and so on...
Please do not suggest a manga with these tags yaoi, yuri, shounen-ai, shoujo-ai,

Thank you! =^' . '^=

-Freesia

-Sundome was also really messed up if you don't mind a heavy focus on sexual content.

-Bitter Virgin certainly has a psychologically damaged character but not in the sense that she does terrible things herself, but rather she was massively abused and therefore has some issues. It's basically a love story though, not sure if this is exactly
what you want.

-Maybe Kimi no Knife. It deals with the morality of killing (evil) people for money and the
consequences. It's not really as dark as it sounds though.

-You could check out Seizon - Life but I'll admit I don't remember too much about it.

- Onanie Master Kurosawa starts out as a kinda silly Death Note parody but gets good and more serious pretty fast. I highly recommend it.

Yeah, try my fav Freesia, there're no sane people yet plenty to think about. The MC is shizophreniac. Actually try stuff by Jiro Matsumoto in general.
http://myanimelist.net/manga/1131/Freesia
Like really, read it.

Also, I must say I am dying to chat about Tsumi to Batsu. Have you read the original Crime and Punishment? And I am open to suggestions for mindfuck manga, care to share some?

Other than that I'll try to help more:
http://myanimelist.net/manga/10956/Doctor_Du_Ming (stick with it for a bit, it's not about love, lol)
http://myanimelist.net/manga/740/MPD_Psycho
http://myanimelist.net/manga/5806/Franken_Fran (not damaged, more like damaging, but try)
http://myanimelist.net/manga/11866/Gunjou (melodramatic, but the MCs are broken hands down)
http://myanimelist.net/manga/28361/Hideout (Stephen King-like)
http://myanimelist.net/manga/8446/Ikigami (not exactly what you look for, but messed up and messing you up)
http://myanimelist.net/manga/1230/Tokyo_Akazukin (gory)
http://myanimelist.net/manga/55377/Kasane (about a complex)
http://myanimelist.net/manga/3064/Kiichi (nuts, like the other works by this author)
http://myanimelist.net/manga/15313/Livingstone (one of the MCs is sociopatic, it makes things fun sometimes, but still mostly lighthearted)
http://myanimelist.net/manga/344/ES__Eternal_Sabbath (female oriented, but I love the beginning, and mindfuck - it has it)
http://myanimelist.net/manga/11952/Satanister (I am sure more people need this in their lives)
Maybe http://myanimelist.net/manga/49865/Ajin but it's no good, imo.

Not sure or don't remember:

Pandora Hearts.http://ship-manifesto.livejournal.com/256927.html?page=1 Read that for a good description and everything :) This manga is a masterpiece, the first four chapters may not be the best, but after chapter 5 you really realize how good it is. And around chapter 45 thats when you realize how much the author has tricked you and everything is definitely not what it seems and you're gonna have a ton of "wtf?" moments and so many plot twists and you realize that Pandora Hearts, is so much more of a masterpiece than it is a broken melody.

The mc (Oz) hides his true personality and thoughts behind a facade of smiles and a twist of words.

Plus, he has identity issues that you don't realize until later in the series.

And if you don't mind a spoiler:

Oz killed those hundreds of people a hundred years back and he still has moments like "This ringing in my ear is so loud, will is stop if I destroy you?" And just in two seconds everyone gets turned into dust. And there are many other moments,
"Those who say they care, don't. Those who say they don't care, do." - Liana

"No one can kill. Except for hero's. They kill our hopes, and our dreams." - Liana

"People lie. They always do. Every word they say, is a lie. The truth is always a lie." - Liana

Damn, thank you so much for being so helpful.
I have not read the original Crime and Punishment, but the manga is very very good so far. It hasn't provided any complete mind fucks quite yet but it is extremely insane. Paranoia is a key factor in making this manga so great and it keeps you thinking constantly. I highly recommended it if you haven't read it.

As far as suggesting some more mind fuck manga, I'd have to suggest __Ichi The Killer. A lot of people on MAL will tell you its a waste of time and sick and so on,.. But I assure you it has the best of mind fucking quality. Its quite graphic, so if Rape/Gore/Violence/ isn't your thing, than I wouldn't recommend it.

__ Wolf Guy: Ookami no Monshou is very good, it is VERY graphic. Lots of Rape, murder, and torture but creates a very good psychological stance. Not exactly a mind fucking manga, but very good. (it takes the werewolf man cliche romance and turns it around completely )

__Btooom! is very very psychologically warped and I recommend it highly. Rape/ Gore/ hella lot of violence.

___Homunculus, I promise provides plently of mind fuck moments. Its quite good I recommend it highly.

I like recommending specific seinen, so it's my pleasure.

Yeah, I've finally finished Tsumi to Batsu, now that they released the final few chapters, and I find it fascinating. But I also read the novel, so my enjoyment mostly stems from recognition. This adaptation is really good - the author took almost all the important motives and details, and then modernized and reshuffled them into a new working system. That's so rare! Though the novel is better... ><

I read Humunculus at some point in the past, but it wasn't finished then, I think I'll have to reread and then finish it. I remember it being very surreal and unique.

I think I read at least a part of Ichi the Killer. I remember the funny extreme M villain from it.

Haven't gotten into Wolf Guy back then, but maybe I should try anew, since I like werewolves anyway. Thanks!

Hmm... I've always avoided Btooom! for the ecchiness and the gamer premise (if I am not mistaken), but so many people recommend it... I am still not sold on it, tbh.

But anyways, thank you!

Soul eater - I swear the vast majority of the characters are mad and psychologically damaged.

Liar game - very psychological, u really do have to think for this one.

Parasyte - my personal favourite manga, it deals with a lot going mad and warping the mind.
