| It was always 12. And if they were to follow purely on the manga, there's not enough content to adapt from anyway. The webcomics are a different story. |

| Would be really stupid to make it more than 12 episodes. A web comic turned into a manga by a mangaka and then into an anime? It's really risky. The web comic was and still is (?) huge, but they couldn't possible know that they would get into the western market as well. The creators still enjoy what they are doing with the series and I don't think that anyone involved with the franchise would want less. |
