Production of the series was hinted last week when animator Hiroko Kazui listed Owarimonogatari on her online portfolio. | Pretty cool first episode, and it was a double episode too ^^ I really missed Monogatari´s unique atmosphere and all these amazing dialogues. Ougi is not really one of my favorite characters but this was highly interesting nevertheless, presenting her in a very different way! Can´t wait for this to continue :-) |
| I also found it amazingly interesting. Ougi has nothing really cute or sexy going for her and her character is pretty bland.... but those eyes... they look like... hell... or darkness.... her character design is quite intriguing. She feels more like a Ghoul or some kind of youkai. I wonder if her character design is reflective of a hidden nature or just that way. Her way of having her hands hidden intrigues me also... Overall awesome episode and i admit i missed Monogatari and havent watched any since Bakemonogatari.. maybe i should marathon the whole series... |

| Pretty awesome first episode... I started watching it thinking it was going to be a normal episode.. I was really surprised when I noticed it was 48 minutes long =o Liked everything , Art style, atmosphere , intriguing as always and even some mystery on this episode (For a second it reminded me of Hyouka) ... Pretty strong start. @Otouto You should marathon the whole series ! |

| Episode 2 Great episode again! I can't help to think I know Sodachi Oikura from somewhere else... she is just so familiar... anw, pretty nice interaction and I was expecting Oikura to meet with Senjougahara haha that was awesome xD Now talking about Ougi.. she's really mysterious ... she's inside Araragi's memories...and the reason why araragi can't lie to her (like he said).. it might be because he can't lie to himself maybe? Maybe ougi is part of araragi somehow .. like she said she doesn't have memories .. like she was "born" not long ago... what if she is some sort of oddity that is connected with araragi? or maybe with people that is connected to oddities? (since Kanbaru and Nadeko also talked with her on other seasons) .. |

| Ougi is something else i have to admit. Its quite obvious she knows the memories of Araragi and shes the one playing with his memories to make him remember. In the end im pretty sure... its gonna be Ougi herself he will be forced to remember hahaha. All is connected im pretty sure. @Harus her design quite literally points to her being a youkai of some sort... with those hidden hands and black pupils... Her way of appearing outta nowhere and/or disappearing is quite special. Mind that i havent watched anything else than bakemonogatari so i have not heard her story or read books...but that's how i see her. ----- On a side note my long term memory is the same as hers. I dont remember much from 2-3 years back |

| Very good second episode again. Not too much to say about this one though since it´s "just" setting things up, it´s part 1 of this arc after all. Can´t get enough of these highly interesting dialogues. I had to laugh at the sound effects when Hitagi punched Oikura haha |
| Ep 3: yet another very interesting episode. Ougi is waaaay too smart, that´s really suspicious. She´s a highly interesting character. I never thought i would enjoy a arc that puts her in the main focus that much after i didn´t really like her as a supporting character in previous seasons... With all the things we´ve learned in this episode, my guess is that we are going to see this "riddle" solved next episode with Koyomi taling to Sodachi in the classroom... |

| XD Many little tips and clues on her identity throughout the episode~ And OH!!!!!!!!!!!!! We saw her fingers!!! She's wearing gloves!!! XD Ougi was scary as hell this episode.... im guessing the next episode will have some minor fanservice XD |

| Ep 4: So they set up the final episode of this arc here. Araragi will go in and settle thing with Sodachi once and for all next week i guess... That´s a shame as it probably means that they won´t show us the Hanekawa/Senjougahara pajama party lol i would´ve loved to see that. Had to laugh at: Hanekawa: "Pick me and i let you touch my breasts" *4 second cut scene* Araragi and Hanekawa standing there together haha so typical for Monogatari, it was funny even though he explained the reason for picking Tsubaba shortly afterwards. |
| Hanekawa's breast were the start of the episode. I liked Ougi more each episode it pass. |

| I´m so glad i was able to watch episode 5 before i went to work ^^ Didn´t expect Hanekawa to be involved in this conversation to be honest. I though she might stay outside since Koyomi usually handled stuff like this alone in past arcs... Nice episode nevertheless, we learned a lot about Oikura´s past :) |
| Ep 6: I was slightly disappointed with this episode to be honest. But only slightly and only because Monogatari sets such high standards so my expectations are high... Reasons: I found the explanation to Oikura´s mums disappearance quite unsatisfying and unrealistic. Much more important: i was not only hoping but also SURE the dialogue where Koyomi talks to Oikura alone and tells her what happened would be a very dramatic dialogue lasting for a whole episode, but it was not the case at all. Instead we saw Ougi in ranting mode right at the beginning lol Well, at least my favorite Hanekawa hairstyle was back ^^ I really love the tiger look :-) |
| I noticed that this arc is happening before Nadeko become god ... I feel like Ougi was about to find her.. or was planning to find her. (Ougi and Nadeko talk on a similar place during that arc). We also see Hanekawa starting her "fake trip". I was also expecting a dialogue between araragi and Oikura about her mom disappearance but I guess they thought it was better to keep it simple ... idk. The show still pretty good, hope for a good second arc too . |

Seems like Kiss-shot Acerola-orion Heart-under-blade's old friend is back for his sword and he has vampire powers now =o Also really nice dialog between araragi and Kanbaru, funny as always xD ~ Hanekawa has that kind of power? '-' (fire everywhere) Ononoki appears! Yey! and who were they going to meet? Was it Gaen ? (if I'm not mistake araragi promised to introduce them during the Shinobu Time..) really hyped for this second half ~ |

| Ep 8: Not too much to day. Looks like they set up the deciding battle of this arc if it turns into a battle at all. Ononoki+shinobu in the same episode=money ^^ Kanbaru was so funny in this episode. Look at her in the background in the last two minutes when Koyomi talks to Shinobu hahahaha!priceless |

| Ep 9: lol this episode had some funny moments along with the very interesting and long story of Izuko. Strange ending to the episode though, not showing a reaction from the others at all before it ends. That´s very unusual for Monogatari... Kanbaru introducing herself as Araragis Sex slave hahaha Shinobu: How did he laugh? Koyomi: HAHAHA HA HAHA ... HAHAHAHA...HA Shinobu: hm... thumbs up! |
| Episode 10 No one yet? Lots of talking in this episode.. and some somewhat random stuff in the end. Still seems like araragi found the 1st. |

| Ep 10: hahaha...complete randomness in the last minutes after all that interesting explaining by Gaen. Suruga as a comedy relief character in this arc is absolutely priceless. I laughed how she still found time to practise high jumping and pole vaulting while Gaen talks about all this serious stuff ^^ We are getting close to the end already huh :( |
| Ep 11: Another very good episode with many characters playing a bigger role. The dialogue between Shinobu and Kanbaru was amazing. Suruga is really superb in this arc! Since there is only one episode left, i wonder if this season will end how it started: with a double episode! This would be really great ^^ |

| Final Good conclusion connecting the timeline of this arc (Shinobu Mail) with the first arc of Monogatari series second season (Tsubasa Tiger). Making everything fit. Araragi beating the first was something we all knew was going to happen.. just not how.. it was simple. Pretty nice dialogues.. shinobu saying good bye to the first... araragi with Hitagi Ononoki and Araragi... really good episode 9 Overall for me ~ |

| It was on it´s way to a 10 but the boring conclusion took it away. Always a shame when the worst episode of a fantastic show is the final one. |
