Are trans people all just bullshitting, then? How can someone feel innately masculine or feminine, if it's all not to do with biology, but just socialization?

And yes, people are different and like different things, to a degree. But a generalization like "people tend to like in-shape people" is clearly not out of line. It isn't pointless to state and make use of these observations. It's just strategizing.
