So I've just been doing these little 5-10 minute sketches in Photoshop because I feel demotivated if I spend more time T_T Completely disregarding the lighting because I didn't pay attention to that; I really have no idea what I'm doing. I've tried looking at a few reference pictures, but those don't seem to help? I'm used to drawing animals and I feel like some of that influence is rubbing off on my human drawings >.< In addition, I want to make my people look more realistic but I'm not sure, should I just start drawing realistic people right away, or begin with an anime style and gradually adjust the amount of more realistic features until I'm happy with it? |

| Things are going good here. I, personally, like what I'm seeing from Godtier_Taste and Trilxs. And here is mine. There's a story to this. The left one was my friends attempt on the MYM logo (he never used a tab before, so yeah.) The mid was done cause I notice something girly from the left drawing. The right was the most recent attempt by applying heavy referencing. |

| my first sketch in months - and it's my first time drawing on computer i dont mean to say im good on paper, cuz im not, but it's just even harder for me than normally, I can't get used to it x.X i always move my paper a lot so i can draw at comfortable angle and stuff, while it's hard to do on comp. i hope i get used to it anyway, here it is, i always try to 'colour' the hair with pen or pencil but on comp it's hell and looks way worse (or most probably - I have been doing it wrong) so i gave up on that |

| Nice one :p. I mostly do pixel art with my mouse theses days. It's... so different from anything else, but kinda cool. It taught me a lot of things about contrast, color palettes and stuff. Planning to buy a tablet soon but I'm not sure it will suit me. I'm so used to pencil and mouse, I'm not sure I want to learn to use a new tool when I still have so much "technical" stuff to learn. |

I have a wacom tablet, and I can tell you, it's definitely something to get used to! I thought that it would be as easy as drawing on paper, but boy was I wrong. It might just be me because my friends also use tablets but they're really good. I think just like anything, it takes practice to get better. If you really want to try digital art with a tablet, you should! I'm not trying to discourage you, but like anything, it can be challenging ^^ |
