If I were to give an example... Something like Zetsuen no Tempest where the main caracters are angry and mad and want revenge. Or like 'The legend of the Legendary Heroes' where main character goes beserk. Umm or like 'Code geass' in which the main theme is Hate and Revenge against Britania. Something like that. Hope you get the idea and thanks any suggestions will help!
Thankyou :)

In some of the Kara no Kyoukai movies, there're different revenge themes. It's a dark and well-animated series.

Welcome to the NHK might interest you. It's a slice of life-ish psychological anime, with a great story.

If you want more action, check out Neon Genesis Evangelion if you haven't watched it yet. The 24 ep. Series + The movie "The End of Evangelion" are great if you wanna watch something about depression. It's a classic, the animations might be outdated (I felt the lack of budget in the last episodes ==')

Fate/Zero does also have some dark themes, the first two episodes are boring but after those the show becomes a thrilling Battle Royale with great animations and fighting scenes. Check it out.

I love that type of shows as well. Sadly there aren't many; most of them are about pointless action with no real motive to drive the characters. But here's a few:

Kaiji (it's dark and about survival at first, but then gets into hate and revenge)
Rainbow
+1 Fate/Zero
Monster

I forgot about Kaiji and Aoi Bungaku, those two are also must see.

Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin (Don't underestimate the title, this is might be exactly what you're looing for.
-Ao no exorcist
+1 Monster
Even if I am to carry all the evils of this world, it won't matter. If that can save the world then I'd gladly accept.

Angel Beats, it involves death and the afterlife. It's pretty depressing as well yet has satisfying humor

Tokyo Ghoul - I recommend reading the manga instead of the anime, but it has a 'dark' theme to the plot. In my opinion, the second season isn't really worth watching though
